I think the only reason people are complaining is to be honest we're dropping points which should be in the bag mainly down to the manager playing players out of position when he doesn't need to. I mean how hard is it to play a 4-4-2, Zoggy on the left, Milner on the right, Owen and Viduka up front, Enrique Left back, Beye Right back... christ, you've only got to fill in the gaps in the middle, it's not rocket science. There is no reason what-so-ever to play any players out of position, who is it supposed to help other than the opposition? Big Sam was a good appointment in my eyes, I just wish he'd stop twatting about with tactics and settle on what we know will work - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have a bad feeling about this...

I don't see what all the hubbub's about, each bloke to their own - in my eyes both the Tories and Labour have ruined the country one way or another... now if I were running the show... mmmm, muhuhahahahahahahahahaaaaa!

I can't imagine Mike Ashley will have much in the way of patience, if he's the money man he appears to be he's going to want results and performance that will bring in the money and he's not getting that at the moment.

That's very nearly an insult, comparing Jol to a true legend like Sir Bob Yeh ''im not sure newcastle have played all that well to be honest'' the score will do me like Five Live are soooo full of shite!

Did I just hear right? Nicky Butt MoM???

No chance, I hope they lose and lose badly. They hate us with a passion and there's no way on this planet I'd want them to do well - my sister-in-law's a jock and she typified their attitude for me when she purposefully went out and bought an Argentina shirt when we played the dirty South Americans in the last competative match we had with them. It's nice to have the other 'home' nations in tournaments with us but I'd never support them. Yeah I accept all that tbh (although your sister-in-law sounds like a turbo cunt and needs a kick in the minge)....I'd say about 90% have the attitude you've described. I'm not that arsed though, I'd get behind them cos they're British and theyre underdogs at the end of the day....and if I want an angle in a game that I have no really stake in then I usually cheer for the underdog. I'd have to agree

It's about time the FA dismissed that -15 point deduction Leeds had, it was all to do with that inland revenue case but the case was later dropped... how have they managed to uphold the penalty? Seems more stupid shite from our country's governing body of football.

But it did and has, evidently there's 'football fans' and 'newcastle fans', Bergkamp was technically a great player, a cheat but a great player. Personally though I wouldn't want to celebrate him on a forum supposedly aimed at Newcastle United fans, I don't see what he's got to do with our team. The point's moot anyways, unless you're in the 'inside circle' this isn't the place to be. Bollocks! You come out with an argumentative comment like you did and if anyone bites back, it's automatically because you're not part of "the cliqué". There is no cliqué, if any of the regulars had made that comment it'd have been challenged. Bergkamp was sly, but he was also an awesome player - one of the best this league has ever seen. The goal he scored against us in 2002 will go down as one of the best ever. Still doesn't change the fact that this is supposedly a 'newcastle' forum and Bergkamp has got feck all to do with our team. As a member of this forum (feel free to be surprised that I've been her for a while) I know I don't post as regularly as some but I would say there is a certain element of having a 'cliqué', that said it is understandable that you'd get a reasonable one from having some 'regulars' who dominate most threads. Most of you lot are a decent bunch, apologises for upseting those who aren't. On a side note you should really consider having a seperate forum where you can drool over players/historical figures from other football teams, personally I'm a newcastle fan and as such couldn't give a flying dogs cock about other teams or stuff to do with them, you'll be putting up a compilation of Roy 'dog wanker' Keane next. If, as you say you have, you have been around here for a while, you'll know that we've twice trialed the idea of a seperate football forum only for it unanimously be given the thumbs down on both occassions. If all you want to hear about is Newcastle United, then only open those threads. It was fairly indicative from the title what this thread was about and seeing as there's no rule here to post 'only NUFC related' stuff in this forum, there's nothing wrong with Jonny posting it. Heaven forbid if you do manage to open a non-NUFC related thread, you could always exercise the right not to reply. That's a better response, I'm satiated

I think 2J's been around a lot longer than you to have a better idea of content. Oh, okay then, really sorry to upset your cliqué... and there was me thinking that was more of a problem on the 'other' forum, I forget you've got to be a long term member with a post count of multiple thousand to express an opinion.

If I wanted to see that rat-faced cheating fecker I'd go to an arsenal forum, good player but not the sort thing I want to see on here.

Hehe, who's going to be first to come out with "Big Sam Out!"? I've got to say I'm a little disappointed with how things are going as far as results and state of play's concerned but I don't want to be amongst those muppets who call for a manager's head a handful of games

Official Match thread: Man Citeh Vs Newcastle United
TheMoog replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
I just don't understand how football managers get through their jobs picking and playing the teams they do sometimes, I'm sure that side of the game isn't as hard as some would have you believe - when it's so glaringly obvious that a formation/team doesn't work why not try something a bit more creative? Odd. -
Back to the same old results, happy days...

STEVEN TAYLOR has turned down a new five-year contract
TheMoog replied to Sever07's topic in Newcastle Forum
It's not bad enough that I've just got in from a weekend of working on my new house and read the whole 'Taylor' thing going on but I see this as well - Though that was from some site called 'Soccervoice' so I'm not overly worried... in fact it bothers me a lot more that while away working on my house I met my new neighbour as well and it turns out he's a mackem -
Quite a sick thing to say Lol, there's always one mong who jumps on even the slightest idea of something that 'might' cause outrage...
