I think O'Neill is doing a decent job at Villa and, like Keegan, is generally good for football. Nothing against Villa, generally quite a likeable club in my eyes. We have pissed Milner about in the past and if Villa need a right sided player, Milner doesn't want to be here, and we get around £9m, then nobody really loses out. I am just pleased he played so well last night as that will hopefully help bump up the fee a little bit. As for replacements, would take any one of SWP, McGeady or Joaquin as these are all more than adequate replacements for him.

I have to say, getting back to Senderos. While I think we don't need another centre half, the only time I have seen him have a bad game was against Drogba. He was excellent when he had an extended run in the Arsenal team when they got to the Champions League final.

I don't think Senderos is as bad as everyone says but I don't think we need him. Colocinni, Taylor, Bassong, Cacapa, and Edgar can do a job but I think our priority is another position (ie. attacking midfielder). Potentially, Senderos would improve us, but for that money, the money would be better spent elsewhere. On the subject of Taylor, I think he is a decent centre half who is worthy of his place. While he is no Woodgate, I think he is a decent premier league centre half. As for criticising him for acknowledging the supporters after the game, people would be wetting their knickers if he fucked of down the tunnel straight away. You are damned if you do, and damned if you don't.
