Peasepud you appear to me to be everything that is wrong with NUSC. The way you talk i get the impressoin you would love the club to fail so you can stand up and shout from the roof tops that you were correct. As for asking me why Duff didnt play, dare i suggest he wasnt match fit? Not particularly out of character for the lad.
-
Just because Pud is a member of NUSC doesn't necessarily mean NUSC are peddling this rumour. He's just passing on what he has heard to other Newcastle United fans who would be interested in such a thing. There was no mention of NUSC in the original post, in fact you're the first person to bring the supporters club into it. Football forums are about rumour, conjecture and calling each other cunts. If you take that away then what have we got? That's right, N-O. *shudders* I would say he is unfortunate that he is associated to NUSC. In my opinion, if you are involved in something like that and everyone knows then you should ensure you dont make them look stupid. Unfortunately i think its a stupid story, perhaps you may believe it perhaps you dont thats not for me to say. NUSC wants to gain recognition and move forward so i would suggest that to be taken seriously they shouldnt come accross people trying everything they can to make the club look stupid..........guess what? we already know it! As for your final line of what a football forum is about, i agree. I dont really tend to say much, just look on here to see if there is any news, to read a few opinions etc but perhaps in my extreme boredom i thought i would say how much of a bollocks story this.
-
Fucks sake, are you lot real!! It blatently never happened, your taking the word of someone who makes out he knows everything about the club when he blatently knows fuck all. A person who acts as a spokesman for NUSC, an organisation who intends to move forward and get respect! How do you expect to get respect for NUSC with stupid comments like this? Stop making up shit stories and deal with facts, those being yes we are shit at the moment, yes the club is being run terribly at the moment. Stop making shit up!

The commentators were cringeworthy at the end, they knew full well that barerra left the fight after 30 seconds (or whatever it was) but were desperately trying to convince people it wasnt the case. In my opinion, the lad did well. Got caught in the 4th (i think it was 4th) had a little wobble to which i thought he was going to go down but other than that solid performance but by no means will i be 'biggin' up as the next best thing as he still has a long way to go.

It had to be stopped, was surprised it went as long as it did. Cut was only ever going to get worse, vision getting worse by the second, it was clear he couldnt see a thing, was just going to get dangerous. Khan did well, looked the part throughout. Shame about the cut and shame that people will now say he only won because of the cut but at the end of the day you can only fight what is in front of you!

Personally i would get straight on to your Students Union, they love things like this! People, myself included until recently, belive the SU is just there for cheap drinks but they are there to help you in these situations.

Newcastle United expand global scouting network

Aye, remember Roeder's shenanigans? He probably still travels to Feyenoord every other week to watch out for Kuyt. He's probably a bit vexed by now as to why the big ginger lad hasn't played for a while. He wasn't the most coy either, was he? "Glenn Roeder doesn't like to talk about other peoples players but if you see Glenn Roeder at that teams ground you know why he's there" Ahh, fond memories of the "Glenn Roeder doesnt like to blame the injury situation..........but we do have lots of players out injured which would hurt most teams" -
Fabricio Coloccini and Xisco are adamant that they made the right moves by joining Newcastle United, insisting they are enjoying themselves in England despite the club's struggles. The former Deportivo La Coruna pair were signed when Kevin Keegan was manager at St James' Park and have endured differing fortunes during their first few months on Tyneside. While Coloccini has become a regular in the team, Xisco has suffered a number of injuries which have limited his chances of first team football. "This experience is new for me and I am in a great club. Also, I am learning English," Coloccini told the Xornal de Galicia. Happy to be playing "I am in a similar situation to the one I was in last season at Depor where I am playing in nearly every game and that is important. "Now we have to move away from the bottom half of the table as soon as possible." Xisco's bad luck has not dampened his enthusiasm and he is confident that he will prove to Newcastle that they were right to sign him from Deportivo. "I have lived through worse situations. With hard work anything is possible. I am confident that I can succeed in England and am learning from it all the time," he explained. Coloccini has not ruled out re-signing for the Spanish league outfit later in his career, as he also enjoyed his time at Riazor. "I would love to go back there one day," he added. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_4939713,00.html Kind of thing i would expect colo to be saying however it is good to see xisco still has a positive outlook. Perhaps im just naive but i really think the lad has a future here, he wont be sold in my opinion so perhaps next season we will see the best of the lad....maybe not.

Are you talking about United? Because I think, football wise at least, they are well within their rights to be arrogant. I don't think anybody has a right to be arrogant, humility is a beautiful quality and they have none. Well said! All Man utd fans i know have never been to an away game, perhaps been to one or two home games yet they feel they have the right to look down on every other football fan just because they are a very successful club. When i have travelled for hours to watch newcastle put in a dismal performance people sending joke to me can normally be taken in a light hearted manner but when it comes from a Man Utd fan it really makes me angry. They seem to have such venom in what they say, they seem to believe they are the only club in the world and people who support different teams are genuinely lower class people!

My technical knowledge is very limited, perhaps non-existant, so could somebody tell me if im doing the correct thing here. When my anti-virus pops up with this problem (avira antivir, the free thing) i just click on deny access, is that what i am supposed to do? I seems to be the obvious thing to me but that probably means im wrong! -
I thought it was the camera moving? I thought that to start with but after a while i figured it couldnt be the camera moving as seemed focused on one part of Mourinho's head. But when it showed a shot from further back in the room it was clear that it was the board going around.
-
Some awful camera angles also, not easy on the eye to say the least! Two more points whilst im on topic, 1) Why didnt the bbc advertise this match? I only stumbled accross it during my hourly freeview scroll and luckily for me i struck gold, surely this game is hugely appealing to football fans therefore lots would like to watch it. 2) Did anybody notice the moving advertisement board behind Mourinho's head during one of his press conferences? I do hope we dont get them in England, the board alone also made me a victim of motion sickness but that coupled with JFK i feel would be almost too much to take!!
-
I by no means like Dennis Wise, i like the rest of us struggle to understand what he does, why he is the person doing it and why he seemingly had more power than a proven manager of whom everybody was happy with (Keegan for those wondering if i meant JFK). However, i do believe the bloke is just doing the job he has been employed to do and it doesnt seem things will be changing any time soon. If i was to be honest i do not see any future fr Kinnear here and i would much prefer Wise to take over thank Houghton!! I think if we are stuck with the '5 year plan' then the best thing for me would be to get a decent head coach, poyet maybe, who would work under the system.

does it for me, on chrome it advises me not to continue and on IE the AVG thing keeps popping up. Im using a PC/Vista/Chrome and IE/AVG -
I installed it today (by accident, i have basic computer knowledge and whilst installing google earth i put this on too somehow) and it would appear that youtube wont work through it. Works fine with IE but through chrome it says about installing new plash software which i subsequently cant install whilst chrome is open. Also whilst on the topic, this website has always been fine for me with IE but with chrome it is warning me it is 'dangerous' and i should not advance due to malware. Means nothing to me but perhaps someone might be interested to know that.

Im guessing you wont be joining their revolution any time soon then? For what its worth i disagree with you, perhaps they are being 'deluded' thinking they will meet with potential new owners but at least they are trying. And also for what its worth if i was a billionaire, im not, looking at buying the club i think it would make sense to meet NUSC. Any person with half a brain would want the fans on side and i think that would be a good start. Perhaps im wrong though.

I love it how everybody is going mad that we have accepted £6million, how do you know that? SSN says so? Get real!

Boaz Myhill is an American born Welsh goalkeeper currently playing for Hull, or so they say.
-
Well i have been informed by a reliable source....(mate from Hull who to be quite honest has a limited knowledge on football)... that Myhill is on his way to Newcastle. Probably/hopefully a load of rubbish but he didnt play this evening, perhaps people are just putting 2+2 together. Dont shoot the messenger!

Although Smith hasnt really impressed for us yet, suppose there are question marks as to whether he ever will, we arent particularly in the position to let experienced Premiership players leave as we all know they wont be replaced. Who knows fresh start, working under the sound guidance of the inspirational JFK perhaps we will see a new Smith......

Alan Smith insists he is happy at Newcastle and is prepared to fight for a first-team recall. The 28-year-old joined the Magpies from Manchester United in 2007 in a £6million switch. He enjoyed a productive first season on Tyneside, making 39 appearances for the club last term. However, injuries have blighted his 2008/09 campaign and he is yet to get off the mark this year. His lack of action has led to speculation linking him with a move to either Everton or Middlesbrough. The combative midfielder has no desire to leave St James' Park, though, and is determined to silence those who continue to doubt his commitment to the club. "There was speculation about going to Everton but that was never the case and I just want to make that clear - I never wanted to go anywhere," he told the club's official website. "That's also been the case recently when I was linked with Middlesbrough. As soon as I spoke to the manager he said I was in his plans and I wanted to stay again because I've got a lot to offer this football club. "Newcastle is the place where I want to play my football and I have got a point to prove to a few people." Tough The Magpies are currently languishing just two points above the Premier League relegation zone, but Smith is confident that Joe Kinnear has the talent at his disposal to pull clear of trouble. "Last season was tough for everyone and people have realised it's going to be a difficult season this time around again," he added. "If anyone doesn't already know it, we are in a relegation fight. "There's no point in hiding it. The club knows that and we know it's a difficult period. "We need everyone available and everyone playing. We need to roll our sleeves up and sacrifice ourselves for the team. "The main aim is for this club to stay in the Premier League this year and then build and build again from there." http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4862029,00.html Phew now that is a relief, just like a new signing..............
