  1. Why aren't there rules preventing this sort of conflict of interest? Especially in light of the horrendous decisions we see week in week out.
  2. We've been incredible at home all season, even played well in the games we have lost. Even if Brighton play as well as they did against Arsenal we should have the edge, going to be squeeky bum tough this. I think it might come down to somebody coming up with a special moment or two in an otherwise evenly contested game. Isak, Wilson, Joe, Trippier even Willock. This is the time to put your first marker down in toon folklore. I'd add Bruno to that list but he's not had his shooting boots on for a long while now. I don't know how Howe decides between Isak or Wilson or whether to start them together again. Wilson has been relentless in front of goal but Isak offers more overall and he has that create something out of nothing x-factor about him. If Murphy is fit I expect him to start. Don't see Eddie taking a punt on ASM at this stage other than another 15 min sub appearance. He can't be trusted over 90 minutes. Is there any word on Longstaff?
  3. All this needs now is for Diego to come up with a perfectly oriented suggested formation. Bruno's obviosuly got to play through this, we don't have a choice. What would help is Joe got his act together again, we'd had both of them drop off form and completely lost control in midfield.
  4. Well considering Maguire and Lascelles captain top 4 Premier league clubs I wouldn't read too much into captaincy
  5. I was just thinking that too. 0-3 now. These bastids are going to wreck the GD for us too.
  6. Is it my stream or does Martin Tyler sounds constipated. More than usual I mean.
  7. If past life as a NUFC fan is anything to by you can expect Leceister to get smashed here and then cause an upset at SJP in games riddled with more. dodgy VAR interventions
  8. Aye , at one point he chucks a shoe and I found the reaction to the 5th goal particularly hilarious " that's replay, please tell me that's a replay. ITS 5-0 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.."
  9. Nah a compilation of a bunch of them live streaming during the game, crap I have to watch it again now
  10. Don't know if it was posted here but there was a similar Spurs' fan reaction vid on Youtube from the 6-1 trouncing. Almost as good as the actual first 20 minutes of game.
  11. I know there's no chance, just shocking the talent City have to throw around.
  12. Apparently but nothing signed yet. Prime Gazzump territory here
  13. Gundogan out of contract in the summer, I know there will be a ton of clubs after him and we'd have very little chance, but what a player to be able to sign for free if City dont manage to extend his contract. KDB and Silva in that side often overshadow him, he's very underrated imo.
  14. Just goes to show the strength and unpredictability of the league. And also why some people on Twitter need to take results with a bit of perspective. And most importantly, what a ridiculous achievement it is to be currently sitting 3rd in the league from where we were last season.
  15. Also looking forward to "Wrighty's" reaction videos.
  16. That's one side of it but we also fail to capitalize when the delivery is good. Schar has missed a handful of gaping goals over the course of the season, Botman and Burn don't usually even manage to get an effort on target when they get on the end of a cross. A lot of people keep talking about the height and physical presence of the defenders when they go up at corners yet they've been utterly ineffective.
  17. Aye talk about scum of the earth. He's also another one who will be particularly riled by what we are becoming, you can already feel the fewm when he talks about NUFC.
  18. Yeah it was poor but not anything near as bad as Villa that performance me thinks. We're managing injuries with a limited squad, losing someone like Longstaff has had a significant impact. Plus the players must be running on fumes with the way we've played the whole season. It seems to have taken a toll on Bruno and Joe especially. Not a great performance but a decent result to a team away fighting for their lives. We just need a massive push now for the last 2 home games. Players needs to find that last ounce of energy and fight from somewhere and get over the finish line. It has been a near miraculous season, we've been top 4 for most of it, which is why losing it now would hurt but it's a fantastic effort from everyone at the club nonetheless.
  19. Might be carrying an ankle injury too. Between that, Longstaff's absence and Joe also suffering a dip in form we'll do well to win our remaining home games.
  20. Purely a numbers game now, go with the accountant!
  21. I had the misfortune of having to stream this arseholes coverage for a while and he was on about it the whole time. It clearly touched his hand. They need to bloody fix a lot of the ridiculous rules these days but there was nothing complicated about this one.
  22. It's a crazy league man, I do agree at time making predictions seem pointless but you have to look at the way a team has performed over the season. Brighton had a shocker last week but they've been really really good this season
