  1. Yeah. Which is why from the start of the season I've found it difficult not to see our performances and progress this season with a view to next year in the Premiership. We've got so many painfully ordinary players who's sum capabilities amount to making a 5 yard pass. I guess this is the part where you tell yourself we're still top of the table, and in Rafa we trust, but he sure as hell has got a lot of work to do.
  2. Can always count on these let you down when you're up for a game. What a load of crap that was. I've been saying it for a while, this squad might have enough to get promoted but it'll be a relegation dog fight next season unless there are some major improvements. Too many below average players. 4th home defeat this season?
  3. Been able to catch only a couple since the start of the season so far, but good to know there are more coming up. Youtube highlights and match reports are just no fun. Radio is even worse.
  4. Bring on the football. Looking forward to this. Rare televised game So we're probably going to lose
  5. Nah missed the Klopp thing, that must have been something.
  6. I was thinking most of them reacted reasonably to that thread until a couple went on to explain why he wouldnt get into their team if they signed him. Low work rate apparently
  7. Embarrassing The minister who said this is known to be a totally clueless dickhead too. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/pakistan-israel-nuclear-warning-fake-news-story-response-islamabad-syria-a7494961.html?cmpid=facebook-post#commentsDiv And then the Independent uses a picture of an Indian missile (with Indian flags very visible in the background) in the story Fish level fact checking everywhere
  8. Raising kids must be a lot tougher than I thought
  9. Better ways of relaxing on the internet you know

  11. What are you lot doing here on Christmas anyway?
  12. Says in one place he cant be bothered to dig up evidence yet goes on to claim whatever he says are all facts Textbook bigotry. There's enough reading available on Ayesha's marriage, or other accusations like Muhammad being a warlord, to make up your mind. Or at least form an educated opinion. Sources other than the Guardian too believe it or not. People posting fashionable one line derogatory remarks are rarely well read though. Like I've always said, people dont require religion to harbor intolerant, extremist, bigoted, racist tendencies. And while WWII the world seems to have made a genuine effort to curb these sentiments on a state level at the very least, we now have occurrences such as the rise of Trump which just goes to show you that they do still simmer in a lot of quarters. I think all you can do in the end is try to make sure you dont go down the same road
  13. Whoopsies Gemmill's right about the weirdos in audit too. Interesting how accountants being weird and boring is a trend that encompasses geographical/cultural boundaries High suicide rate so...
  14. Yes exactly PwC Its mental because all the tax guys at the firm did was fanny around the tax authority officials tickling their balls hoping to get extensions on deadlines for their clients.
  15. Myself know a couple of people who dont need to at all but do. One worked as a tax associate dealing with miserable public sector clients basically just filing appeal upon appeal for them. While his family was asking him to come manage the hectares of agricultural land he owned, or any of the hospitals or schools etc they were running in the area. Thought it might not have been true until the day I was passing by the area and he invited me to see 'his lands'. Tax associate ffs
  16. Yep! Which brings you to think. How many of us would immediately give up their jobs supposing there was a significant cash windfall out of nowhere suddenly? Rich aunt's will or whatever. I think I'd be handing in my notice as soon as gauging that I'd be able to live off it. Even though I dont really have a major hobby or a business idea etc that I could work on immediately, but the idea of sitting back and having time to think doing about whatever the hell you want is hugely appealing
  17. We should be looking at a creative CM with a view to next year anyway.
  18. Wonder what Rafa could get out of Anita in that role.

  20. I guess it varies from person to person though. Had a few months off at the start of the year before starting a new job and loved every minute of it. Was nearly 5 months in fact and barely noticed them fly by
