Amorim just needs more time for his system to work. If only all the players, opposition players, other managers, referees, officials, regulatory bodies, Dalai Lama, Donald Trump, Gordon Ramsey, UNICEF and the international space station buy into his methods you'd see what he could do.

I know some had a little trouble with the discord when we went there but I really liked the way it would take you to the last unread message on a thread. Worked seamlessly on the app. Anyone know a way of doing that or similar here? I know there's like a section break from the last unread message but only if you're on the right page.

I know what you're trying to say but as people have been saying, this is not the problem. Isak wanting to leave is not the problem, it's how he's doing as everyone keeps explaining. In your example that would be like Howe refusing to pay a player whom he doesn't fancy anymore and leaking to the media that he's shite and not wanted. As you know the club at least under the current management does exactly the opposite, people like Lascelles who clearly aren't anywhere near the first team continue to be treated with top respect and professionalism. You could say maybe Man Utd are doing this to Hojlund, but even they're not refusing to honor his contract. Again, I get your point that there's aspects of what Isak might have been told that we dont know, but there's still no excuses for how he's treating the club, his coworkers and the fans. He's an absolute areshole. He's acted like an entitled priveleged prick, most people have issues at work but we don't have the option of throwing our toys out of the pram and most wouldn't give up on their coworkers in times of need. So, I repeat, Isak is a priveleged tit.

Villa being linked with Jackson now, thank the heavens, although I was hoping Brentford might have a go at him.
-
We were linked with Agehowa at one point right? Porto might have indicated they're looking for a silly fee and perhaps we decided to not put a bid in. Ramos might be worth a punt, highly rated a couple of years ago but hasnt gotten much game time at PSG.
-
The irony in that statement talking about promises and trust when you're refusing to honor your contract and leave your teammates in the lurch Monumentally thick bellend
-
What a stupid twat, incredibly unbearably stupid twat he has turned out to be. At some point in his life he will realize this. He can make himself look like an unprofessional, whingy prick get his move and win the CL with Liverpool when he'll be forgotten in a couple of years alongside dozens of others. He would have been talked about and adored for a generation here. Let him rot on the bench, not a penny less than 150M, he can continue to shed tears on social media.
-
His achievements at Bournemouth before that are pretty decent as well.
-
Hopefully the conclusion is the same then and they get fucked.
-
Farcical the amount of time City's cases are taking but you get it because of the implications all around. If they win the related party transactions case you could see clubs, like us if we ever get our executive act together, making a case for losing out on PSR money and thus players and performances on the pitch.
-
People need to stop with the Jackson shouts ffs. Gives me a anxiety everytime I open Twitter if if its just made up stuff.

I think we've made very good upgrades and cleared out some deadwood. Ultimately how this window is rated depends on the Isak situation of course. If we sort that out or manage to get the fee we want and get in someone Aghehowa it will have been an excellent window in the circumstances. The fact will remain either way that the club needs to learn from the executive clown circus.
-
I hope we're also in touch with the likes of Bayern and PSG to see what they can offer whatever the timing. Screw Liverpool.
-
Take the hit if necessary and have the prat rot on the bench. We need to set an example and let entitled arseholes like Liverpool as well as future players know this is not a place you come to fool around at. A few months on the sidelines in a world cup year and I suspect Isak's little head will come to its senses. He's not exactly 19. Totally agreed with PIF's stance here
-
Aye, he would have been celebrated for decades by Newcastle fans even if he'd left had he conducted himself in a professional manner. I honestly thought he had a better head on him than this, what a disappointment. And what a cunt.
-
I wonder what would have happened if they'd got CL football and we hadn't
-
-
I'll be totally on board with the leave football thing if we try to sign Jackson now though. Although at this rate he'll probably reject us in favor of rotting on Chelsea's bench.
-
Not it's not. It's just meant to highlight that it's a strange time to be done with football given we've never been more successful in our lifetimes. I know we're being dramatic but still.... There can be little doubt the leadership shambles at the club is a major reason for the shit show. I've maintained that we seem to be sleepwalking our way to the top relying on Howe's brilliance while other clubs find ways to circumvent PSR. I hope the embarrassment we've become this window wakes up the ownership. I don't think they could have done much on the Sesko deal mind apart from maybe walk away sooner if they hand an inkling he's waiting for ManU.
-
Ah of course. Winning a trophy, our best season in 70 years, rivaling ManUtd for one of Europe's top strikers and resisting 100M pound bids from Liverpool for another one on our books is exactly where we expected to be 5 years ago. I know it's been a stinker of a summer so far mate but freaking hell
-
I read the part about meeting the valuation as the bid 'qualifying' but then they still have to pick one. Or are they really that non chalant that they'll accept both and let him decide. Just thought its an interesting point, usually an organisation wouldn't take a 10M hit just so the employee is a little happier. But yeah, not sure exactly how it works for football clubs. In this day and age you'd think they'd fight tooth and nail for every cent.
-
Has there ever been a case where the lower of two competing bids has been preferred by the selling club? Surely Man U need to match our bid before it goes to Sesko.
-
Agreed with Germmil on this one now, if Sesko picks them we should focus on extending Isak's contract and telling him he can leave next summer. Focus on the other positions. If we go for the likes of Jackson after this it will be absolutely taking the piss. I was going to say this summer has been an unmitigated disaster and one that will hopefully shake the ownership awake but that's what we thought last time around....
-
The most expensive deadwood we've got left now surely? Hopefully someone takes a punt on him before the window closes.
