  1. If we're going to end up accepting Liverpool's low ball offer what was the point of dragging this saga so long? Hopefully chicken nonce is just covering his bases as usual
  2. Given the Jackson loan fee was supposedly around 15M, could we justify a 20M loan fee to Saudi and then sell him for 120M next summer? I know Isak won't want to go there but that might change sharpish once the window closes.
  3. Just like PSR rules, the premise of VAR is fine but the application of it is just to benefit the big boys. There's got to be a reckoning of some sort at some point you'd think but probably not.
  4. Wtf I was sure this was parody but apparently not
  5. Safe to say we're winning the lot this season.
  6. Which we might be able to stump up IF Isak is sold for 150M odd.
  7. No way that happens without selling Isak, and there may not be enough time this window once and if his move goes through. It would be insane if we did pull off something like that though. The other one to target if Isak goes could be Alvarez, obvious I know and many clubs would be interested if he's unhappy at Atleti. He'd be a brilliant signing though, still only 25 and would complement the new no 9. Proper statement too to offset the Isak loss.
  8. That's fine but it'll also send the wrong message on player power and reward Liverpool for the way they've acted. I'm not saying I have a good solution to the Isak mess but we've got a find a way of making them pay, even if it's literally (more cash).
  9. Aye, especially if it's for anything less than 150M.
  10. Did he only WANT Bayern though? Did he, Fabreeze-eo??
  11. The optics of this are so important as well. For the morale of the squad, for the media, for everyone who still thinks we can be bullied. Whoosing in a top striking prospect out of nowhere after apparently having bid for everyone in public Yasir boy was on a mission.
  12. This is class. Just what the doctor ordered. The real power move now would be to tell Isak to shut the feck up, sign the new contract and get his move in the summer or rot on the bench for a year.
  13. A valid point but some of the things he did today were concerning, that attempted bicycle kick btw I mean long may it continue, another career ruined and all but who gives a shit, the idiot picked them.
  14. My confidence in our transfer dealings has taken a bit of a hit given we bid 80M or so for Sesko
  15. I think we're all missing the point here. You have to admire Amorim for sticking to his guns as far as playing his style goes. So brave believing in your system no matter what, even if you're getting dry bummed by league two opposition.
  16. We respect cultures too, I've got a ton of respect for the Japanese and their idea of honor. Even their pets buy into it. There was this frog a WW2 soldier had that decided to follow him into death. It kermit suicide.
  17. Mexican and black jokes are all the same If you've seen Juan you've seen Jamal
  18. This place clearly needs a lift so, what did the drummer name his two daughters? Anna one Anna two
  19. Yeah and we just signed Thiaw. It's about player quality, I don't think Howe has a filter on his scouting sytem that excludes Europe.
  20. I hope the club is ready to push the nuke button come next week given how Isak has acted. Fines plus banned from training until he issues an apology and signs an extension, let him rot otherwise. He will destroy his world cup chances. It will hurt us in the short run of course but a precedent needs to be set now for the likes of Isak and Liverpool.
  21. Aye take a punt on Europe for that price and hope Howe works his magic again. 50M for Ramos and loan with buy clause for Vlahovic or someone like that. That's not how we usually do things but its desperate times and screw this league
