Happy new year everyone, all the very best!

Finished at 12:00 and off to town to spend some vouchers

Beautiful South It's just something I've started doing more often, all though I did go to see the Stereophonics at the Arena too. I thought they were great! Most of the songs they sang were basically there greatest hits. Trying to get myself along to the Academy more often but it's just finding the time.....and money! Can't say I've heard of Little Man Tate which just probably states how often I see live bands, but will download some of there songs as recommended.

Been in town getting extra wrapping paper and a few drinks with a few pals before getting back home. Gonna wrap the rest of the presents I have then go to the Denton to have few........obviously I feel shit now after taking a break from the drink before I'm back out again....! *groan*

You did Seems like he can sing good live judging from that youtude video so I'd def go & see them if the chance came around again. The last band I went to see were the Beautiful South, they were great! What would you say was the best live performance you've been to see, Matty?

I'm hopeless me, and I've left em' right till last minute as usual with other stuff to do......When I say other things I mean have a few cans, laze about and get pissed! I was the only one at work who didn't wrap their present for the secret Santa thingy wotsit! I work with British Bakeries in a call-centre so what I did when I got there and saw that everyone else had wrapped theirs I wrapped it Hovis wrapping paper....! I was the only one to put my fooking name on the card too....! I did't know! I hadn't played Secret Santa before!!

I went last year with some friends......after having a few drinks...! Had never done it before, but I think I did quite well all considering.

I've got fooking tons of presents to wrap still...! .......oh, aye, Merry Christmas....everyone!

Missed out on seeing them at the Carling Academy, did anyone go? Love some of their songs. I'm also bang into Keane, Starsailor & Snow Patrol at the minute too....I'm turning into a right fucking student! ...Anyways, just came across this video on youtude and thought it was class....take a look! ..oh.....

Noble & Vages were my highlight all though I did enjoy Jools Holland on the piano too. I'm not really Paul Weller's greatest fan, but wild wood is a class song. My pal was probably the only one standing and clapping when he came on. We sat in Level 3, row dd, but I thought the view was perfect slap bang in the middle. I was hoping to see Billy Mitchell sing Fog on the Tyne, but he didn't....

I'd say bitch-slap him so hard that he falls to the ground then grab both of his ears and continuously head-butt him.....or if you don't want to get sacked throw a chair off his back when your boss isn't looking.
