No-one tanks the season, ever. Game doesn't stop for ads either, the ads happen when the game naturally stops - only stops when change of possession or a timeout and clock stops when the ball is out of play. Moving is extremely rare, but that is the billionaire owner effect, when it does happen it's usually the perennially shit teams it happens to - and that's even with all their high draft picks.
