Very strange, consdering we have two defenders there. I think the reason is more than "he's not good enough"
-
I'm not saying he's all of a sudden become a model pro, but this season his attitude certainly has improved, which I find very pleasing. Gutted tbh.

I swear England must be cursed with foot injuries. Spoiled 2002 for Beckham, Gerrard had to miss it, Rooney's injury ended 2004 in sadness, Owen's only just recovering...
-
Really annoyed by this actually. I doubted we'd win, but no Rooney would just be awful. I'm sure he was really looking forward to it as well. Hopefully Owen won't get injured again...

Ameobi for the World Cup?

The Times is a southern newspaper - they're simply biased.

How is that worrying?

McClaren admits to affair with secretary

Who would want to do it to Sven Goran Eriksson, John Prescott, Robin Cook, David Blunkett etc... -
Brilliant controller. Just won't quite be an N64 though. And I thought the GC would be awesome, but most of the games have been very unconvincing. Still, Smash Bros Melee...

Ok, I'm the special one then. Unless you're suggesting Mourinho could be our new manager?
-
Hopefully! Do you know something by any chance? 129350 Nah, I'm just special.
-
If it is it's Mancini I reckon.
-
Nah, considering Wigan are doing so much better than Fulham. He's the guy that wanted to play for Germany in the world cup, no?
-
4-0 Bramble hat-trick and N'Zogbia wonder goal.

Scolari withdraws application for England Job

Hopefully the press will realise what a bunch of muppets they are all are. -
Thought he was going to join Middlesbrough...
-
I hear the reason is because he's a cockney and wants to move back home.

Don't blame him tbh. Well said really. -
Excellent, been due a return for a while now.
-
Think you mean Adebayor. He's another lanky striker, but it's surprising how useful these played are, even though they don't have muscle. Shola seems to have a fairly strong upper-body, but his legs are so dangly and awakward, they're partly the reason he can't get power.

No Place For Jenarse In The New England Set Up

Sol Campbell's past it anyway. -
I heard that, but I laughed it off because it was near the beginning of the match...
-
128834 He's half right though, they have done well, but the displays by the two opposition teams should go down in history as two of the stupidest and most gutless efforts i've ever seen! 128835 True true, sit back and allow Middlesbrough have as many pops at goal as they like - what ridiculous tactics by their managers.

And so once again McClaren is a world-class managera and it is a joke he has not been offered the England job.
