Anyone would think they were waiting to inform his next of kin or something. Fucking joke of a club, I wish they would all fuck off
-
Eh? Well he's walked hasn't he? before he took over at bolton they were known as a relegation scrambler team and now look what hes done with them now got them into europe and just because the man is looking for a new challange doesnt necessarily mean "hes walked out". if we dont get the right man for the job this time we are going to be known as the next leeds united. So he has no appetite to take a club he knows inside out to the next level, yet somehow he would want to come in and change NUFC from top to bottom? It's taken him 15 years to realise he needs a new challenge? Coincidentally when the club reaches its highest level. That is not the mark of a man who likes challenges in life. He's the new Curbishley. And this is nothing like Leeds

Aye it's true that I think more than a summers rebuilding (unless we are talking Chelski money, which we patently aren't) that is probably needed. Whoever succeeds Roeder needs time and money.... well unless they are completely shite or mad. But from the same situation Roeder didn't need time or money? He did, and although it's not a popular opinion here I think he'd have done better given both, but equally I couldn't really see him getting us back to Robson days (never mind Keegan days). His big downfalls are motivation and not being particularly tactically astute, buying well could have covered one of those but probably not both (even if we had the money to try). But at the same time we've got to end the cycle of fire/hire/fire/hire or we'll only go down, some HUGE clubs can get away with that system, but even they probably suffer lower fortunes in the end from it. People seemed to quickly forget that Roeder wasn't hired to recapture the Robson era, he was here to save us from where Souness was taking us, and whatever people say, with Micheal Owen we would have been nowhere near the drop this year, and would have had a year of team building and confidence under our belts. Now we have yet again another period of comings and goings. No doubt Titus gets another chance to prove himself to another manager, just when a manager had finally realised he was shite.

Here's a shocking idea, how about we go find a classy up and coming unknown manager. Oh wait, that wouldn't work, let's narrow our options down to an unemployed gigolo or a man who didn't have the balls to take Bolton to the next level
-
I don't know why people think the situation has changed from 12 months ago. No decent unemployed candidates, Souness is the standard of manager we pay off to get, and the same poison chalice hot-seat with the same squad.
-
So we either want the guy who will shag the secretary or the guy who will get intimate with the agents We might as well give the News of the World a permanent office in SJP What a pile of shit
-
So we have a chairman who is incompetent, a manager who is a nice guy but can't stand to be in the job for more than a year, a captain who tells the fans to fuck off, and fans who buy the shirt and boo the team Excuse me while I don't get excited at the passing of yet another shite chapter of NUFC history
-
No perhaps no ones officially told them? Like I say, I dont actually think they can (yet). Yes I get it. Hence the can't get it right point
-
I could believe he has been persuaded to resign. He only signed a 2 year contract to save the club having to compensate him for being sacked if it came to that. I bet he's the only twat in that board room with any honour.
-
They're all saying he's sacked without saying who told them. Fucking club can't even get a sacking right
-
The only reason Glen is probably now sacked is because renewals were in danger. Don't kid yourself that this board meeting was to discuss the football potential of this squad. Finance first, Fred knows nothing about football. The only reason Fred is still bumbling on is because of financial support, and that includes buying shirts We aren't in 13th place due to not selling shirts. You have to buy a season ticket before you can boo from the stands wearing the new shirt Who do you think appointed Roeder just one year ago? Does buying a pie and a bovril at half-time count ? It does when they are going at 500% mark up and your sitting there eating your pie and drinking your bovril watching the Toon get humped by a club that are reducing their season ticket prices by 25% next year OK, I need to find a club that sells refreshments at cost price..... I think that was Nial Quinns last PR stunt....

Anyone starting to think 'local sources' = 'mongs with mobile phones who can recognise a fat bastard getting out of a bently'?

This myth that FFS "backs" his managers...

Considering their track record, that's not the news we want to be hearing. Until we see a definite "Roeder sacked" with accompanying images appear on your screen it hasn't happened! Alright Neil? You recovered from last night then? I was fine today i'm pleased to say. I don't seem to be getting hangovers that much after nights out recently! You fall down the stairs again?

SSN said that a board member was keeping tight lipped, and the PR dept is awaiting official instructions
-
Even SSN knows Freddy reacts to fan pressure by sacking the manager. Shame the fans don't - I can hear the renewals flooding in already
-
SSN: "Newcastle fans, many in the new shirt, were calling for Roeders head" This club is a public laughing stock
-
Has anyone actually said what the source was? I smell a betting scam...
