Felice anniversario.

Average at best, and prone to going AWOL. He would be between Djimi Traore and Ray Clemence on my preferred striker list.

The new Range Rovers are ludicrously huge, as I found out this evening when I realised that two regular lanes doesn't always mean you can get two cars down it. It would be interesting to see tests done on the subconscious effect of such a lofty driving position, coupled with the rugged built of the vehicles (proper 4x4s at least).

IIRC Guivarc'h scored a grand total of zero goals at WC98, played poorly and was signed before the tournament started so I'm not sure where the comparison comes from.
-
Is this the final line up then? 152474

Those plastic 4x4s are a menace. An actual 4x4 will off-road, but half of these piss-poor Korean efforts wouldn't get up Dean Street. On a similar note, why do parents seem to think they need a people mover after having one child? Trying to get out of my estate past the various double parked ignorants dropping off their precious ones, oblivious to the fact other people occasionally use that road is a nightmare, and will sooner or later see someone knocked down.

Free, decent scoring record, lives nearby so won't have to move and will be available quickly for Intertoto games and the like. I watched him a couple of times last season and he looked pretty decent. BTS, anyway.

It's a right leg we need, and we might need to take a couple on inches off for it to fit.
-
Thing is, you can add a couple of months to that for the inevitable reaction injury. On the plus side, his toe should have healed by then.
-
Perhaps those chaps at Polygon will realise how a little slip here or there can radically alter your plans in this business.
-
For fuck's sake, man. Sorry, I cant think of anything more eloquent.

Darn. I thought this one had already been sorted http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/4770193.stm Best get the claim in then! Tbh, it's only fair.

Read a few posts up!

I'm unsure of your point. We are much less likely to get Malbranque, as we now need another striker to replace Owen and still have to pay Owen's wages. If Carr goes we will need another RB too. 151433 If we were compensated for six month's wages this would equate to around £2.5m. I think we'd be after Malbranque regardless of Owen's injury, I just think we're trying to hold on to the cash as long as we can.
-
In fact, should Owen be ruled out for 6 months, that would more or less pay for Malbranque, especially if it's true that fat Carr could be used in part-ex.
-
Apparently this £40m debt is being shifted as part of the takeover.
-
Will be interesting to see how much they have to spend. There's an awful lot of people in this consortium by the sounds of it. Not sure if that will means they individually won't be that involved so won't invest too heavily, or on the other hand there are so many that a few extra million is not that much when spread about.

No one was expecting Spanish opposition.

There's PR and there's fraud.

We do have a ninety-something year lease, though.
-
Is the ground offered as security on top of the lockbox agreement for the ground expansion cash? I thought it was secured only on future ticket income and our Premier League status.
-
We do own the ground itself, just not the land on which it sits.

I'm one of those who firmly beleive that there are ups and downs to our current administrators but rest assured they are infinately preferable to some US hedge fund. They are agressive and will seek almost instant returns (ie ticket price hikes). Doug and Fred may be in this to make cash, but it's in the form of a long-term family interest. A hudge fund would want high returns and a sale somewhere down the road. Our long-term interests would not be a consideration.

I've always got the feeling he's put on these shows to make everyone else seem funnier. Is it just me?
