  1. Fop appears to be implying that we use people's IP addresses as a weapon against them. Interesting admission tbh. Hardly an admission - it's what you're implying. FWIW - no 'IP PMing' as you put it is occurring. Anyone who is a moderator sees an additional field at the top right of every single post which reports the IP address that the post was made from. In much the same way as fingerprinting, they're there as a protection to individual users and also to the forum itself.

  3. well so have hull and sunderland, but we've played man u and chelsea mid season when they we're both still playing for the league and earned the 2 draws we've had against them if hull and sunderland pick up points against those 2 with weakened sides then it is genuinely not fair considering how much is at stake, we aren't talking a mid table place and a difference of 1000000 prize money or whatever Aye but we've thrown away games we should have won. As Alex said elsewhere, it's swings and roundabouts and tough shit and if it were happening to any other club than Newcastle you wouldn't blink an eyelid.
  4. If by 'taking action' you mean IP masking, people are very naive if they think that provides anonymity. On the contrary, IP masked address are flagged up in audit logs for most forum software (this one included) and stand out like a sore thumb. Perhaps, but then that only makes any difference if IP's are to be used as a "weapon" in the first place, which seems to be the recurring issue. Surely an IP address is there for your own protection? Unless you're doing something wrong of course?
  5. Jesus christ, how pathetic would we be to do this? If the players are registered with the Premier League, they're eligable to play. Non-story IMO

  7. The irony there is quite staggering. You've both claimed you were going and not coming back and you've both acknowledged it. Surely there's no need to keep going over it?
  8. You know what, I couldn't give a fuck who goes down so long as it isn't us. I bet you any money though if Hull win and Sunderland lose, the Mackems will celebrate despite being relegated themselves. EDIT: scrub that idea, it's not possible is it? Still, the sentiment remains if it was....
  9. Surely a "your IP will be public when you post" EULA type thing would cover any issues? it just seems to be such a big (and pointless) issue here. No IP address is public though. It's visible to the admins and logged into the forum database. It's certainly not public to all and sundry, nor will we make it that way. No arse-covering required here...
  10. Shock factor wore off with you years ago man - give it up!
  11. Welcome aboard bonny lad..
  12. I wonder if you can pursue an appeal through other legal means? If both us and Hull lose on Sunday then there is an arguement that says we get relegated because of that decision. Can you imagine in your job if you got something wrong that ended up costing someone 50 million pounds? Howay man, we're not Sheffield United. If we get relegated on Sunday it'll be because we've been shite over 38 games - NOT because of one refereeing decision. There'll be as many decisions unfairly gone our way as there is go against us over the course of the season. Next you'll be wanting to take SAF to court for fielding his kids against Hull. It's not his fault which clubs are in the positions they're in... that said he should have to field a resonable strength team IMO it shows a big flaw in the league system when there is a game as important as this to 3 clubs and so many many people and the opposition could just field some kids, no first teamers jut to save them for another competition when us and the mackems (who are in a similar position to hull with chelsea playing in the fa cup final soon) have had to play man u at their devastating best and earn what little we got from them So long as they're registered, he should be able to play who he likes tbh. Like I said, we're in this position because of ourselves - christ, every result for the last month has largely gone our way so we can't start pointing finger elsewhere. If we'd beaten Pompey and not lost to Fulham, we wouldn't be in this predicament. Harsh but fair.
  13. Nope - don't worry though, I've no doubt he'll be back..... when he thinks I've forgotten about it all

  15. Yeah but the badge placement would only have been better if they'd shift the adidas logo to the other side. leaving it in the middle on it's own looks even more ridiculous than both of them being in the middle.
  16. tbf with the exception of the panel and the turnover collar, it's exactly the same template as ours....
  17. As I say I happily meet for a drink Craig, do you work near me? Nice try sunshine.... I take two sugars in my tea btw and don't make it too milky.
  18. As has been said already I haven't actually made a threat just merely asked a question. The fact that you've shit your pants is indicative that you feel you're doing stuff your employers wouldn't be best pleased about - that's your problem, not mine. How do I know where you work and who for? Well that's for me to know and you to think about but if you think the internet offers you anonymity, then you're extremely naive. I guess we'll only hear from you in the evenings from now on then?
  19. No one likes a WUM either but it's not stopped you giving it a good go for the last 12 months. Assuming everyone here comes from the north of England is not a good idea. Yeah we've got fuckin out of towners everywhere You can talk.... What? I'm an out of towner ? Don't you frequent London from time to time?
