  1. couldn't bring yourself to admit it was wrong despite the concrete evidence, eh

    Movember

I'm signed up to do this with work so I shall be going through the 'tache growing phase too some of the blokes entering it have had beards and moustaches for the whole 8 years i've worked there. I think it's going to be more odd seeing them clean shaven at the start of the month than it is me (and others) having moustaches at the end of it...

    Losing it...

Off to Auntie's for a while?
  4. What private reg would you have? You're a clever lad Alex
  5. I still thought he was getting in everyone's way tbh... Duff was MOTM for me. Duff really looked like a totally different player. He was actually getting past players, showed good ball control. Shame about his lack of composure after Ameobi's sublime through ball. Aye, the way he was knocking the ball down the line and running past the player was like the Duff of old. The effort at the gallowgate end was a shame and had it been put through to Michael Owen, would have ended up in the back of the net but that aside, I thought he was immense last night.

  7. For once I have to find myself agreeing with Sima... Carroll was absolute garbage last night
  8. Do you honestly believe the red card won't be rescinded? Christ
  9. I hope Freddie Shepherd is reading this and that bit sticks in his throat. Sure, SBR came off the rails a bit in the end and his time as our manager was drawing to a close, but the big failing was not invoking some sort of handover to a new manager - instead, they just pushed him out of the door and with it, our form evaporated.
  10. Well he did for one, as did his psychiatrist. Have you got a quote on that? During his recent re-trial it went on record that he confirmed he was a serial stalker. Hmm... let me see. Want more? Which changed to: And now to: Oh fuck off... My point has remained the same throughout. Yes your "point" that there are no quotes about claiming to be reformed........ oh wait.... If you bother to read back through the thread, you'll see that was a follow up comment I made and that my original view was what you're claiming i've changed my claim to... Even so, the question i asked (have you got a quote on that..) was answered by you - thank you... I still maintain that it's a naive view to expect an addicted stalker to stop 'following' women just because he's said so. I don't think you actually have that view, I think you're just trying to be humourously ironic and it doesn't work at all. So basically he said he was reformed (as I said - and you claimed was not the case) he clearly isn't (whether he was lying or just unable ) and you think rapists are victims too. That about sums it up, unless he does more (beside the sex offender register alledged laptop and curfew issues). I await your future apologism and denial with baited breath. For what? If you read the middle post you've quoted, you'll see I carefully chose my words "not necessarily an admission". The fact is that he, a very 'simple' man was asked to speak a line to the press. As I'm sure you're aware, he has the mental ability of a child. Reprimand a child for something and they'll very quickly tell you that they won't do it again and what I was meaning by that was that you've taken it as black and white when it's anything but. And what's the comment about me thinking rapists are victims about? I've never said that - very libelous claim.
  11. Does that make Spurs a cocktail stick?
  12. Eh? How do you work that one out? If they win two they'll be on 8 points which is likely to put them 16th...
  13. What are Spurs going to end the match with less of, players or points?? Oh yeah, can't have less than 7 players, can you?
  14. 11 minutes of stoppage time? "Alex Ferguson-tastic"!!
  15. Shhh... stop spoiling the fun!
  16. Agreed. But Ashley still maintains it was the foundations of success...

  18. Sheffield Wednesday's in 1999 (when we beat them 8-0) was pretty bad, and the mackems'' two then-record low points totals must have been pretty shocking too. Derby beat us early in their record breaking campaign though. All teams that plummeted out of the league though, weren't they? It doesn't look good for them at all. IMO it's down to the carry on with stringing out the Berbatov sale. The remaining team don't seem to have a clue and have had the heart ripped out of the side (particularly with Keane going as well). Individually, the players are way, waaaaaay better than this - something the other clubs who have been mentioned couldn't really boast.
  19. Sacked in the morning.. he's getting sacked in the morning.... EDIT: where does Spurs' start to the season rank against others in Premiership history? Is it the worst on record?
  20. Oh fuck off... My point has remained the same throughout.
  21. well they've got another news cycle out of it...... so job done A cynical viewpoint Fish.... but sadly, probably right. Oh and Fop, feeding a line like that to the press in the wake of having your convection correctly quashed is not necessarily and admission of reform. The bloke is an addicted stalker, like any other addiction saying you're intending to give up is a damned sight easier than going through with it. And don't sit there all high and mighty stating that you expected that line to be honourable.
