Indeed... so they will withdraw their money making us an even less attractive proposition. We're not an attractive proposition full stop. The price is too high and we have a shit squad. The club isn't worth anymore than 240m. So why put us in a worse position simply because several people want things moving along more quickly? This 'association' is supposed to be conveying the opinions of the fans who have shown an interest in joining. I can't speak for everyone else, but I for one have not been canvassed on anything. This gathering has great potential but this statement is an awful start. I agree with Alex as well in that the most concerning aspect is that it would appear that the issues that have been raised in this thread have been dismissed outright by someone who would appear to be a part of the guys who are running the show. Not good... not good at all.

Agreed. My stance on this when people have moaned about the NUSC not speaking for them is that you join and you vote and you make them speak for you. They're now making statements about what they're going to do next summer and no fucker has voted on anything. This is not a good start. Was thinking exactly the same I'd also suggest they find someone else to scribe the statements - they're not the best-worded documents I've ever read.

Fantastic club manager who proved himself well at both Watford and Villa. He's proof though that being a good club manager doesn't necessarily make you a good international manager.

It's all relative as to how important the running of the club is to you IMO. Not paying the tenner doesn't make you any less of a fan in the same way that not buying a season ticket doesn't either. Everyone's financial situation is diffferent but I don't think a tenner over a 12 month period is a bad outlay if it will improve the running of the club.

For the record, it's disappointing to read some people questioning the payment of £10 a year to join a supporters club which is championing what 99% of the people on here have been shouting about over the last month. The same people, some of which have spent exponentionally higher amounts on season tickets - literally lining Mr Ashley's pockets. And those who haven't have no doubt posted something in the 'Materialism' thread which has cost them a damned sight more - how much have you paid for porn storage Laz? At the end of the day, the membership is a choice - it's not mandatory. And if you think it's too much then simply don't pay it. FWIW I think it's a small price to pay to attempt to get my club back on the rails. My tenner is here waiting
