1. I'd hang myself from the Tyne Bridge if that happened. 74259 If Roeder takes charge, we'll do a West Ham when he took them over - straight down into Div 1 and then we will be screwed
2. ive seen that "especial-luque" video that someone put on here a while back (i have it but nowhere to host it) and i can say that if he produces that stuff while he's here, he'll be a hero for us. Just give him time.
3. anyone feel that this could be one of ours? http://www.thedoghouse.co.uk/Articles.asp?...GiftsPerPage=25
4. If a few thousand decided to do it, i think you'd find Sky getting onto the case. Even if this fails, the crowd have to be unified in chanting their opinion, something i dont feel happens enough at SJP these days
5. no but mido just has 2-0 souness out in FFs new years resolution
6. the bloke from toon faith is spot on about his whinging. If we were winning games then people wouldnt be complaining. I think Souness is looking for any excuse to blame for the teams appalling performances. Im still hoping for a result today
7. thatll probably explain charltons recent slip in form. Murphy was outstanding while they were on their run. Since his form has dipped, they havent performed nearly as well. Good business if its true
8. other side of the story http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...onf/4501572.stm Gazza disputes Ladak drink claims I thought football was what he needed, but being a manager has pushed him the other way Kettering owner Imraan Ladak Paul Gascoigne has denied claims from Kettering owner Imraan Ladak that his position as manager was made untenable because he had begun drinking again. Gascoigne, 38, was sacked on Monday but said he was actually axed because he would not run the team as Ladak wanted. "I had a double brandy before one of the games, but it used to be four bottles of whiskey a day - it's not now," Gascoigne told Sky Sports News. "I had a glass of wine after one game and told him to stay out of the team." Ladak says he had no choice but to sack Gascoigne as manager because the former England star was "under the influence of alcohol" in the post. Ladak told BBC Radio Five Live: "If you are a recovering alcoholic there is no reason to drink but Paul thinks it is okay. "He feels I should have done more - but I have had conversations with him he can't remember because he was drunk." Ladak believes the 38-year-old needs to get help before he considers returning to the game. "I thought football was what he needed, but being a manager has pushed him the other way," added Ladak. "Only Paul can help Paul. No friends or counsellor can do it for him and when he is ready to help himself he will. "This is the most difficult decision I've had to make in my life. I would have loved to have sorted him out but I felt I would have been gambling with the club." Gascoigne now says he wants to buy out Ladak's stake in the Poppies and move the club forward, despite Kevin Wilson's re-appointment as manager. "He's not the chairman, he's Imraan the doctor," added Gascoigne. "I'm Paul Gascoigne and I take charge of this club. "I'm a multi-millionnaire and I'm angry. I've tried to buy him out already. I told him it was the fans and Paul Gascoigne against a doctor - who will win? "I know that the supporters, the players and the staff of Kettering Town are all behind me, not him. "Two years ago I would have given in but not now. I'm a genius and I know what's going on on the football field."
9. either way, sounds like the owner is meddling with the team. Seems like there has been "differences" between them
10. cant think of any an absolute titus
11. You still not managed to flog that yet? 56384 you tried flogging a Rover lately? For a grand it is a LOT of car. when i passed my test, the Fiesta cost me a grand and it too was 8 years old. no electric anything, no power, and not much comfort. Like my sales pitch?
12. These threads usually give me an opportunity to advertise my motor..... So, 1997 Rover 200 1.8iS, 64k miles partial service history tahiti blue. 12 months MOT.....£1k My first car was a G plate Ford Fiesta 1.1 Popular plus in white. Arches were full of rust so i sanded them down and hand painted with hammerite. Interior was very tidy but bodywork got worse over time. Never buy a white car.
13. bugger missed it will have to watch it on tuesday
14. whats all this group game/cup action stuff?
15. ? 51307 i used to have one of those mugs - the sang the tetley tune when you picked it up. Needless to say it wasnt around long
16. gloating boro fans... makes me sick
17. Aside from whether Alcoholism is an addiction or a politically correct disease, Best still decided not to meet the donor family - probably because he knew that he had no intention to jack the booze in
18. Just heard Shearers comments. Nice to see someone saying it how it is. I like his comment about "we'll he wasnt good". I bet he was dying to mention the SAFC links but couldnt because of the risk of inciting violence on the streets of the North East.
19. ill not shed a tear. I feel sorry for the family of the Liver donor though
20. pretty shocking to be held by Grimsby considering we've got quite a few first teamers out there
21. hows it going? Doesnt seem to be much action going on....
22. I really like the IS200s - heavily specced and are well styled. I like how some have gone for out and out performance (Skyline - what kind of ragged chav motor will i get for 8k?) and others have gone for total economy in the Prius and Fabia Diesel. Mate has a focus and he's pretty bored of his. I thought about a BMW 320d Compact - they get 50+ mpg and can shift. BMW servicing and parts might be a tad expensive??? Smart Roadster Coupe?? Only a 700cc turbocharged engine but i test drove one a while back and it felt like i was driving a go kart
23. Lou - if you can do anything with £8k of monopoly money then be my guest Its the fuel bills which are crippling me (which doesnt help me when ive looked at Convertibles and new Mini's) Ive got a 1.8 Rover at the moment and my commute is 50miles round trip. Apparently MX5s only give about 30mpg and Minis arent much higher at around 33mpg (despite what official figures suggest). Mine currently returns around 34mpg which isnt too cheap when im doing 300 miles a week. 24yr old with a smokey diesel doesnt appeal but ive already got a motorbike and i need to find some place of my own in the next year. bah i need to win some money
