It's absolute madness that our first choice CB goes off long term with an ACL and the replacement also goes off with an ACL. There has to be some correlation with the training to suffer this many injuries in one season. Just our luck he triggered a years extension just in time to be out for most of it too.

We are playing ridiculously high. Looks a bit suicidal

This is the worry although I think it will develop. We are all guilty of it through the games success in this country. The PL are losing the everyman to the tourist and the well off which will mean the loss of atmosphere, die hards who can't afford it and the next generation. They are absolutely milking the fans for everything. Eventually the bubble will burst but it's hard to say how far it'll go before it does.

Hopefully rinse each other for another half hour. It's hard to watch a match where you're so conflicted who the victor will be when you can't stand either of them.

I don't think Eddies position is in doubt, and I'd doubt the fans in the stadium will get on his back either. They don't seem to see that we've got players who have been here for and since the championship. Eddie got a good tune out of them last year but maybe the consistency is what separates them being better players.

I feel flatter than that performance now. The push for the minor Euro spots is all we have left, Shearer looking despondent at another year of no sniff of success.
