  1. This is the dullest season I can think of in 30 years, can't we just fast forward to the end to see which mega signings we can bring in to spice it up a bit?
  2. Bizarre. Can only think Ashley has some kind of deal where the more Bruce plays him, the less he has to pay for him. Joelinton for a hat trick.
  3. I'd love it if it cost him millions, purely for his greed. Still debatable as to whether he would sell.
  4. Genuine question, if we got to the FA cup final (winning it is stretching it a bit ) but got relegated, is that a failure or a success? I'd be quids in on a relegation.
  5. Only because our strikers are that bad!
  6. Great signing if he gets his spark back. Step down in quality for him but hopefully he'll be happier up here and can enjoy his football.
  7. We've pulled a gap but we are vulnerable due to GD if it tightens up. I had a bet on relegation at the start of the season, I'd bet if I didnt, we would be sat at the foot of the table.
  8. /Anyone send me a link please? Cant find anywhere to view it.
  9. Only Watford have scored fewer goals than us, and we are out of options. Unless we go into the transfer market in January and spend over the odds on someone who can score goals, I really dont see where we will get enough points to stay up. Almiron needs to be dropped and Gayle needs to be given a run in the side. The current bunch aren't suddenly going to change.
  10. This is a horror show. We'd be better off having a dairylea cheese slice at right back. Players look like they couldnt give a fuck
  11. I didn't say they caused this, Cameron and Farage caused it. They are just largely responsible for the weak alternative since May got her dirty mitts on the top job. I'll have a £100 with anyone that Corbyn doesn't get in. Even if the left support increases, the Lib Dems will cut any swing from the Tories.
  12. There is a lot of intelligent conversation which is unfortunately unravelled when anyone considers Corbyn to be a credible leader. Momentum is largely responsible for creating the huge fuck up that we see happening in Parliament. The lack of effective opposition has created a stalemate. The electorate dont want Corbyn and McDonald running the show but Mckluskey is quite happy to keep him them in play in the hope that the government eventually bring themselves down.
  13. It may have been highlighted many pages ago and I've just stepped in late to the party, but for those who actually want to leave the European Union (not Europe) then surely from a negotiating point you want to position yourself so that the other party has a cliff to fall off too? By taking no deal off the table then you're offering the EU the upper hand. At that point they know that the negotiating is on their terms, otherwise no Brexit. I don't actually think Boris genuinely wants to leave without a deal, but he is playing a good bluff. The way in which this whole debacle is being played out is highly undemocratic. You had a majority vote which isn't being honoured due to a minority of people who were not elected to govern making that decision.
  14. The guy is a total arsehole. Devoid of personality and any humility. I'm sure he'll sell books in Liverpool but I doubt that there'll be a run on sales elsewhere. Cock.
  15. Don't think I've heard much of that from scousers but Man Utd fans don't think they highly of him either. Probably the only thing that Ashley has done right is to take the club record signing "accolade" off him. How he gets a job in the media is a surprise to me.
  16. I acknowledge that Bruce wouldn't be most people's choice of manager but I'm happy to see if he can make a decent go of it. Performances have been steady so far. As I've said countless times before, Ashley is the one everyone needs to direct their displeasure. Those who seem to be directing it at Bruce are doing exactly what Ashley wanted them to do.
  17. Sounds like we gave it a good go with a decent performance. Unfortunate injuries stacking up already. Typical to lose via pens
  18. I don't get all the hate for Bruce the man. Yes as a manager his record isn't a patch on Rafa's and I've said that to go from one to the other was a piss take by Ashley, but I don't see why so many are just throwing abuse at him. I think he realised long ago, any ambition to manage Man Utd had gone, and yes he was the scum boss but fuck me it's football. He doesn't come across as a chest beating arsehole like Allardyce and doesn't have the slimy car salesman persona of Pardew. He's not completely deluded like Carver either. I completely understand people why people don't want him in charge but that's not a reason for chucking shite his way even after we get a win away from home against one of the likely top four. I'll keep my frustration and anger for the arsehole in charge of the club.
  19. Pards wouldnt come back, even if anyone actually wanted him back. Looking forward to Sparky next.
  20. Charnley wants to add to the list that if he spends money on players then he can't spend money on managers either, except for the fact that we will probably have to line Sheff Weds pockets with money instead of them having to pay Bruce off in the coming months due to his shite performances in the Championship. Those water facilities, FML.
