1. To be fair to him, I would LOVE to see his first team play.

Don't be sorry. He was a "alleged" muso so I just made a word association. Actually no come to think about it he realised Souness was the devil, so you can't be the same. So what type of tunes you brewin'? 47194 Anyway....do you ever need any? No worries if not
3. I think she died I think Paul's still ok though!
4. My 92 year old next door neighbour always wants Sunderland to do well as well as all local teams but he supports Newcastle first and foremost. I must say I don't particularly like animosity in football, I just want us to beat whoever we play.
5. I believe people from Sunderland have difficulty pronouncing the word "scooter". Other than that...I dunno....Newcastle is more glamourous though (but probably not as glamourous as Biarritz or Monte Carlo obviously)
6. How about a nice book. About cricket.
7. I believe a fair trial will get to the bottom of what happened. Lets hope that happens. I agree she looks shifty and a little bit too excited by it all to believe that she's a wonderful character. I don't know if she did it but I do think body language is a pretty good way of forming an opinion, but possibly not the way you should convict someone.

So what type of tunes you brewin'? 47194 Acoustic guitar, shakers, 70s bass, Rhodes. I really like Simon & Garfunkel and Stevie Wonder so there's that type of thing. I do it all on a shit hot Mac though, so I've got lots of modern loops and beeps if I need them Oh yeah, and if I'm in the mood I've got some rock guitar somewhere....

17. Is this forum update week? Everyfings diffrent
18. Yeah, that's all I want for now, but thanks for the tips.
19. Aye, till you upload to it your webspace and find it doesnt work. 46494 Care to elaborate?!
20. FrontPage has themes and templates and stuff... so basically you click a few buttons and TA DA there's a webpage in front of you, with banners and backgrounds and buttons and what the hell. Then you just add your text. (You can also change all the background, buttons etc, they've provided you with if you want). If you really DO want to cheat and have a little Mr Microsoft webpage, then that's an easy way to do it. 46459 Thanks Lou I just found out today I already have FrontPage on my pooder anyway! I'll give it a crack.
21. One choice only: (hypothetical banter) Lose to Sunderland, Souness gets sacked, we bring in Hitzfeld (or other suitable candidate) and we make it to the CL OR Beat the Mackems, keep Souness, finish 12th. I never want to see us lose but I care much less about one game than making progress. Still, I don't work on a building site full of Mackems....
22. But then that goes back to what we actually have communities/societies for. The alternative where the "aggrieved" party simply punishes the wrongdoer leads to vigilantism and the breakdown of all law. There has to be a "detached" view when it comes to justice which doesn't mean the severity of the crime is ignored. 46456 I agree. Suggestions by papers like the S*n that victims should choose the punishment are ridiculous at best. 46463 I didn't say that to be fair, merely that having impartiality is easier if it doesn't personally affect you (which I believe to be LM's main point).
23. LM, doesn't that article contradict a lot of what you have been saying? 46399 That contradicts everything he's said and backs up what other like me and Rob have been saying - in the long term if you want "decent" citizens from people who've either made a mistake or are "genetic" scum then prison isn't the answer. As I've argued unpopularly in the past on paedos, if someone like this rapist committed his crimes due to an actual mental illness then I'd rather he was treated and cured rather than "locked up forever" as LM wants. Do we want a society where "ill" people are jailed? 46415 I think LM's point is that it depends if it was your daughter or someone elses daughter.
24. I have to say that playing a Brian May signature guitar is a bit suspect! Hi BTW, I'm not slagging the band, just the singer's guitar...... 46282 Could be something to do with the fact that Tony Stillyano, (the singer/lead guitarist) used to play lead guitar in a very successful Queen tribute band I've been to see this band a few times and i have to say, they're really promising. You can listen to a few sample tracks on the website. I've bought their first album ( they had 200 limited edition copies for sale at their last gig ) Hope they make it!! 46307 Ahhh, that'd explain it!
