I'm more like Nistelrooy, do nothing in the build up, then finish with aplomb.

◉ Newcastle have made a contract offer to Axel Disasi. ◉ The Magpies have started talks with ASM. ◉ Manchester U is there but wants to complete the attacker's file first. ASM in this case is A.S. Monaco.

He failed in his remit, but I won't hold it against him. He took himself out of the argument by admitting he couldn't be objective. The topic is I think ASM is our most saleable, least integral player. Your position is that he's irreplaceable (either directly, or in the aggregate). Diego said that he can't speak objectively, so would forgive him his failings because he likes watching him play. I don't have this problem with my wife, because she knows her place.

I'm a fan of ASM, I love watching him play. However he's our most saleable, least integral player. I respect that Diego rates him, but he admits he's not objective. If selling ASM brought in players that better fit Howe's system Diego would be on board while you're still cry-wanking over ASM's highlight video.

Say his name a few more times and he'll appear, then absolutely destroy your fetishisation of Saint-Maximin.

Be kind to your knees, you'll miss them when they're gone.

I don't think they've done anything wrong, I think the timing is just serendipitous. A season before, or after and they would have been fucked. -
Congratulations mate! My donation is the offer of sage advice.

Looks like he's got a good build for his age. He's only 17 and he's got to be about 6ft and not slight at all. Hopefully see him and Anderson get some game time this season.
-
You want him to stay, how is that pragmatic? The pragmatic position is; Sell ASM for c£40m, use that to bring in players who're more aligned to Eddies way.

Going off Transfermarkt (I know I know) -
This is an unacceptable about face from you. You gave me endless shit because of my defence of Robert, Ben Arfa and ASM. Derided as a romantic, mocked as a lover of all things fancy, but now I've accepted that what is best for the club and the player is a change, you're wanting him to stay?! Outrageous.
-
I accept your retreat and unconditional surrender.

His last 2 seasons at Leicester they were 9th and 12th for Passes per Defensive Action. His last season at Liverpool they were 9th (I can't find stats earlier). So even if he's reaching for a high pressure style, he's failing spectacularly. Go buy some of this while you read this. What you do with this is up to you, realistically you have two choices.
-
Brendan is not known for pressing. At all. He's known for patient passing, wearing down the opposition until they make a mistake. Pardew had his number a fucking decade ago. Swing and a miss babygirl. That Eddie quote isn't saying he's not for sale, he's saying he's dead good at dribbling, which he is. Also, as an aside, if you've sold anything, ever, you'll know to talk it up and make it seem like you don't actually want to sell it.
-
Passing and creation stats are terrible. Defensive stats are all right.

You'll make me gluten intolerant.

'stuck in traffic' = set off late because you were proving your dough?

You got a decent pizza dough recipe? (Who was it who didn't like pizza? I bet it was some mockery of a person, some fraction of a man)

Just checked and in the same time period, big spending Man City have spent €2.5bn since 1992. €500m to not only catch a consistently high spending opposition, but overtake them from a position of yoyoing obscurity.
-
They're a poor impoverished club, battling against the odds to compete with big spending rivals scraping by on - checks notes- € 986,600,000.00 in his Klopp's 8 seasons, on top of €1bn spent since the inception of the Premier League. Also bear in mind, this is nigh on €2bn spent on top of a team that was challenging for the title 18 of the previous 20 seasons and last finished outside the top 8 in 1962. Poor lambs.
-
Do these fuckers not realise the takeover happened 21 months ago? We're way ahead of schedule, 2-4 seasons ahead of where we likely planned to be. I'm sure they were anticipating a season or two competing in the Europa, maybe a season where we challenge for the top 4. Instead we spent 21/38 game weeks in the top 4. Sure, we were benefiting from other clubs having, by their estimations, poor seasons, coupled with our own rapid improvement. But I don't think anyone was expecting Newcastle to leap from bottom half obscurity to Champions League favourites within such a short span of time.
