Who will?

Same here. Although, besides the goal against Wolves and the runs against Burnley a couple of seasons ago, I'm struggling to think of a great goal, or wonderful assist.
-
I'm sad to see him go because he's great fun to watch. It's funny, if we were like 3 years down the line, he'd be a great player to come off the bench and provide a new problem for the opponents to deal with. But right now, heis inconsistency and injury problems mean we'd be better off with less skillfull but more consistent, more available players taking up that squad place.

I think you're right, but I'm not sure we'd get the kind of replacement/improvement that's available on the left hand side and certainly not for the kind of sum we'd likely get for him. What would we get for Almiron? 29yrs old, 3 years left on his contract, at £60k pw. Pretty well known that the purple patch was just that and the rest of his career hasn't seen that kind of goal return. I think Almiron fits well in the way we play, I think his character fits with the camp, and I don't think we'd get a significant sum for him. I definitely don't think we'd get enough to make it worth while.

@LongTimeAdmirer How you doing? You ok? This is a safe space.

Couple the above with an ego that prevented him ceding control of the football club to people who might no better. There is no reason, beyond his ego, that we couldn't have run the club well on a modest budget. How many times did we complain about the lack of funding for the training ground and academy ? Those small budgetary commitments could have paid for themselves in fewer injuries/higher fitness levels and a conveyor belt of young players sold to fund the club or replacing expensive transfers. If he'd let Carr and Nixon work with a proper DoF (instead of Dennis fucking Wise) and a proper manager, we could have continued to capitalise on under-valued markets like France to maintain good performances in the league and cups. None of these things are comparatively expensive and have been achieved by clubs with a smaller fanbase, a smaller global footprint to great effect. There's nothing that Brighton have done that we couldn't.

Had no complaints, not even from LTA's mother.

Always rawdog it.

She has no interest in football and stays in her lane. Like, I don't tell her about tennis or Married at First Sight Australia.

I'm more like Nistelrooy, do nothing in the build up, then finish with aplomb.

◉ Newcastle have made a contract offer to Axel Disasi. ◉ The Magpies have started talks with ASM. ◉ Manchester U is there but wants to complete the attacker's file first. ASM in this case is A.S. Monaco.

He failed in his remit, but I won't hold it against him. He took himself out of the argument by admitting he couldn't be objective. The topic is I think ASM is our most saleable, least integral player. Your position is that he's irreplaceable (either directly, or in the aggregate). Diego said that he can't speak objectively, so would forgive him his failings because he likes watching him play. I don't have this problem with my wife, because she knows her place.

I'm a fan of ASM, I love watching him play. However he's our most saleable, least integral player. I respect that Diego rates him, but he admits he's not objective. If selling ASM brought in players that better fit Howe's system Diego would be on board while you're still cry-wanking over ASM's highlight video.

Say his name a few more times and he'll appear, then absolutely destroy your fetishisation of Saint-Maximin.

Be kind to your knees, you'll miss them when they're gone.

Newcastle United: Club Sold To PCP - Official
The Fish replied to The Mighty Hog's topic in Newcastle Forum
I don't think they've done anything wrong, I think the timing is just serendipitous. A season before, or after and they would have been fucked. -
Congratulations mate! My donation is the offer of sage advice.

Looks like he's got a good build for his age. He's only 17 and he's got to be about 6ft and not slight at all. Hopefully see him and Anderson get some game time this season.
-
You want him to stay, how is that pragmatic? The pragmatic position is; Sell ASM for c£40m, use that to bring in players who're more aligned to Eddies way.
