TFI friday was ace, genuinely original tv, shame that by pushing the boundaries it pushed too far and it became impossible to broadcast it... however Evans isn't funny in the same way as Hicks or Pryor

isn't the "damp squib" referring to when cannons were lit with a long match thingy? The squib was the fuse sticking out of the cannon? If it's damp it wouldn't go off? therefore a disappointment..
