Tickles me that a state that prides itself on rugged outdoorsy burly blokes isn't handling a black out. Aren't they all survivalists, hunters and cowboys?

Fulham might well reduce the deficit to 1pt over the next 3 games, but what about the rest of their games? And the rest of ours? Wilson will miss the next few, but should be back before the end of the season. We were improving and I'd say the Chelsea performance would have been better if we weren't missing our only legit PL striker. Fulham beat Everton, so did we . Lets see where we are in 6 games time. I'm not stressing yet.

And I helicocktered my wang to completion.

I was and we did. So, there's a learning opportunity there for you all. Forget about xG and PpG for a minute. Fulham are still 7 points behind us and have been poor for the majority of the season. A win against a below strength Everton isn't making me wet the bed.
-
So he'll be out for a couple of months, which is a shitter, but this system, this formation should still mean we can beat the beatable teams like Wolves, WBA, Brighton e.g. And he'll hopefully be back for tougher games like Tottenham, West Ham, Arsenal, Leicester.
-
7pts points off us which means they need two wins and a draw and us to lose every game, just to get level. Even if they managed that over the next 3 games, they've then got a run of games where it's highly unlikely they'll maintain the 1.5PpG they'd need to get safe, and it's unlikely we'd maintain a 0ppg for the rest of the season. Fulham could easily lose to Burnley and Sheffield Utd who are both getting 2PpG from their last 6 games. We're playing better football and while Wilson is the only Premier League striker we've got, it's the midfielders that have been scoring recently (5 of the last 7 goals). Play Gayle with ASM, Fraser, Almiron and WIllock and we'll have plenty of movement and pace. I don't think we'll get points from Chelsea, maybe a draw against Man Utd (depends which Man Utd turns up), but we can beat Wolves. Clark's back, Lascelles and Fernandez aren't far off a return.

There can be only one.

We'll be fine man. That was Fulham's first win since Leicester in November. They're not suddenly a good side, the Everton team they beat were without Rodriguez, Calvert-Lewin and a few others. Some of their first 11 had played in the FA Cup on Wednesday. After the next 3 games, it's hard to see where Fulham will pick up there next win. Likely be us on the last day of the season. And they're more likely to lose all 3 following games as they are to win them.

Aye, the 'lore'. Do I pop into the guitar thread and take the piss out of your ridiculous terms? No, No I dont.

That's all right, I'm deep into the lore and I've little to no idea either.

Because Marvel Studios consistently put out good content? Yeah, your confidence is well founded. Now, go murder a seagull, you very old man.

WandaVision is still good, by the way.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

They're 8pts off 17th on 15pts, they've won 2 times this season, their points per games is 0.68. If Burnley and Newcastle keep roughly the same PpG(1.08), they'll end up on 39 and 41points respectively. For Fulham to get to 39 points, they need 24pts from 16 games, which is 1.5PpG. More than double what they've managed so far. It's a win every 2 games. If Newcastle and Burnley lose the next 10 games in a row, to catch us Fulham would still need to significantly improve their return to about a point a game just to catch us. -

Nah. Not because we're any good, but because the three at the bottom are too far back and too shit to get themselves out of it. -

Reckon toonpack watches porn and complains that you didn't get to see the fluffers?

I guess they want the media to say 'there, there'? It burns them that nobody cares about them aside from their local rivals. Even then, more and more they matter less and less. As with Portsmouth and Leeds they thought where they fell from is where they should be and the degree of attention shouldn't change. They are a well supported League 1 side, who were in the top flight more recently than any of their opponents, but that's it. They're not down there on a holiday any more, they've moved in. I wonder how well attended they'd be were it not for COVID?
-
What's the story though? They're a midtable League 1. They were maybe news worthy when they suffered double relegation, but there weren't many stories about Portsmouth or Leeds in their seasons in the darkness, right?

We've an 'Employee Engagement Survey' which uses the same bullshit. In a meeting about it the HR bod was explaining the scoring and I asked what's the point in a 1-10 scale, if there are only 3 options; bad, fine, good? He said that you could score whatever you liked. But only 9 and 10 are good though right? yes. 5-8 are "needs improvement"? yes. 1-4 is bad? yes. So there's no difference between scoring 2 or 4, for example? No. Right, so there are only 3 options then. "No, there are 10 scores."...
