9, but a couple that I don't have are definitely in my future.

To be honest, I'm appalled that he's not a perfectly balanced player. As has been said, PSG knew exactly who he is, what he can and can't do and what you can and cannot expect him to do. I just really don't understand the anger and contempt he receives when his worst crime is not being great at putting in the effort on the defensive side of things. He's obviously a wonderfully talented footballer, who was a rare positive in a sea of negatives at Newcastle, he did brilliantly at Nice when given license to apply his talent and could do the same at PSG if he were held in higher regard. PSG would be questioned if they went out and bought Tiote and then criticised him because he couldn't contribute in the final 3rd. I just don't think that Graft > Talent, we may as well fuck off and watch Rugby if that was the case. He'll never be a world class player, but it was a joy to watch him play in Black and White. Now he's plying his trade elsewhere, where's the harm in remembering the good bits? Just like we gloss over Ginola's well documented failings, or Shearer's?

Reckon we'll lose this. lose I say -
World tour of England (Home to see the folks & then back to London), I am entirely hungover. Randomly bumped into Meenzer and Cath in Newcastle before the Wolves cup game in Tilley's What have I missed?

One of the few things that "banter" accounts consistently do well. I'm enjoying the fact that if Allardyce leaves his England post, the FA will have fucked over the mackems season for nothing.

Pretty surprised Parky isn't a big fan of Walt Disney.

You got minus points for predicting we'd score 6. -
What's the craic with van Aanholt? So far I've picked up that he was left out, a journalist asked Moyes why, Moyes stroppily said it was an injury. Is that it?

The positives to take from this, We've a game tomorrow to put this disappointment right It's still early in the Championship season CT didn't get any points for his predictions. -
I can do, I think what you want is a dummy voter who always predicts that, right? If so, it shouldn't be a problem.

The Wolves fans seem to be, to a man, expecting a shellacking. Seems like Zenga is rotating their squad too much, and they think their defence is suffering because of it. I'd take a 1-0, but I've an awful feeling that a combination of over-confidence on our part and a Cup Final feel on theirs will lead to them taking the lead and us only managing a 1-1 draw. -

Thought you sat with HMHM? Just get him to meet the lad at the turnstiles, take the ticket back off him when he goes through. Done. Howay PL, think of the friendship you could help blossom, HMHM and some spotty 14yr old who wants to tell him about how Perez would be best used as a raumdeuter in a gegenpressing style because his FIFA17 stats have his Flair as 98. Or something. -

"Can everyone please manage their predictions? What's that? My prediction? 6-2 obvs."

That's surely just Rafa not thinking Gamez is up to speed yet? The little I've seen he looks classy, but not yet ready for Championship football. With Benitez all but confirming that Lazaar is going to start in the cup on Tuesday i'd not be surprised if Gamez plays against Wolves, but saying that Clark and Dummett are doing ok at this level, so why rock the boat?
-
Depends how it was sold to him, if Rafa has told him he "needs" his character and leadership on and off the pitch, but his game time may be limited because of the rigors of the league, I'd believe a 30yr old left back would be ok with that. Especially if the reports of his character are true?
-
About fucking time it did.
-
re: Gamez, I was wondering if he was bought for the dressing room, rather than the pitch?
-
He might grow out of it naturally, I know I wasn't that popular until I hit high school, University before I learnt how to manage my own stuff. It's obvious that he needs to get into an environment that supports his academic side, but gets him used to playing nice with other kids, to put it plainly. Be that a better school where the teachers have more time to spend with each student, or a hobby like martial arts or sports. Trouble is, his parents are more likely to take him to a Dungeons and Dragons game than give up their Sunday afternoon to take him to junior football. She needs to talk to someone, 100%. I've tried to have that chat with her, and used my own experience as evidence that it can work, but it didn't go down too well. Possibly because I was the one giving the advice and I'm a bit of a dick...

Aye, the dad is still around but he's not very good at being a Dad by all accounts. He was due to go to the Panto with my nephew and he genuinely asked the little'un who he wanted to go with. Nephew obviously chose the parent that he actually has a relationship with, so the Dad shrugged and went off to the pub with his mates instead. Mind you, she's prone to martyr herself, so I reckon they argue a fair bit. I know she used to argue with me a lot when I was still around. Really sensitive, highly critical (or herself and others) and a lightning quick anger. My parents try and help the best they can, but they're late 60s and he's about 5, there's only so much they can manage. Not to reignite an old argument but I think the little laddy would really benefit from a grammar school education because the schools in the area aren't great.

Handy, because Shelvey looks like one and Mitrovic acts like one.
