  1. Given there's only 1 season left, and a shorter one at that, I reckon the zombies will get through the wall in Episode 10. There needs to be a reason for Dragon Tits to head for the North though, who's she going to meet that convinces her to delay attacking King's Landing to go fight monsters? So many threads to tie up, Sparrows v Lannisters, Arya's list, the Iron Islands, Dragon Tits, and of course The Zombies...
  2. RTG are making out like this is evidence of rats leaving a sinking ship.
  3. That's key for me, we've a better squad than we did when we went down last time and we've certainly got a better manager to bring us up (no disrespect to Hughton who did brilliantly with what he had). Say the gutless wonders depart as soon as they can. Sissoko and Wijnaldum, plus maybe Janmaat, Krul, Shelvey and Townsend. If they leave I'm confident we'll be able to reinvest the £40m-£50m in players that can not only take us up, but players who'll be able to perform in the Top flight too. Even if they all leave we've still got a side of good Championship players.
  4. Krul is comfortably our best 'keeper. Elliot and Darlow have benefited from low expectations, where Krul's been in the spotlight for years.
  5. Really? When we were last down the league looked like this; 1 Newcastle United 2 West Bromwich Albion 3 Nottingham Forest 4 Cardiff City 5 Leicester City 6 Blackpool 7 Swansea City 8 Sheffield United 9 Reading 10 Bristol City 11 Middlesbrough 12 Doncaster Rovers 13 Queens Park Rangers 14 Derby County 15 Ipswich Town 16 Watford 17 Preston North End 18 Barnsley 19 Coventry City 20 Scunthorpe United 21 Crystal Palace 22 Sheffield Wednesday 23 Plymouth Argyle 24 Peterborough United I'd say the balance of power is pretty much the same...
  6. Thing is, for all people are spending more money, the standard of players haven't dramatically improved. Fans of clubs in the bottom half of the top flight are making out like we'll be £100m behind them all, well not really. The Premier League will be able to afford top level players, sure, but the elite clubs always have. That doesn't mean West Brom will suddenly be able to attract Alexandre Lacazette or Mario Gotze. They might spend a fortune on players, but they're as likely to overspend on Ricky van Wolfswinkel as they are to secure top talent. The clubs still have to name a squad of 25, they still have to obey FFP, and selling clubs will still know they can charge Premier League clubs more.
  7. Yep, Arsenal and Liverpool will look to spend to try and keep pace with those teams as well. Spurs aren't short of a bob or two either.
  8. Nah, it'll be Boro, Bournemouth, Burnley, Hull, West Brom I reckon. Palace won't tolerate another post-Christmas slump.
  9. If this is fake it's well done, if it's real I'm not going anywhere near Florida. Ever.
  10. Rumours that Pardew wants him at Palace. Bet Timmy can't wait for some more of this
  11. http://burtonbrewers.proboards.com/thread/2484/disrespect-burton-new-team-slogan but yeah, I'll ask 'em
  12. I know that, Paddy O'Gobshite! That's why I said "These are the old ones". Give me a replacement question.
  13. Right, What's the questions? These are the old ones;
  14. Put the mouse back in the house and calm down. Beginning to think Leicester's unbelievable season is bad for football, as now every fanbase thinks they "could do a Leicester". No, you can't.
  15. I could maybe go to the Championship teams and ask them a few stock questions about next season?
  16. Busier than here. You can get a conversation going if you ignore the bantertastic MLFs who come up with witticisms like "Poo Poo black and white army".
  17. Is there any other PoV character near Braavos?
  18. Nope. Also, Mitrovic scored more than any of our other strikers and contributed much more to the team than his colleagues. We went down because our defending was shit.
