This is the 1st season where I've seen the players on the pitch actively seeking direction from the bench. If that's not an indictment of the piss poor preparation McClaren made, I don't know what is. -
Think there's very few owners who do know anything about football. they might love the sport and feel a connection to the club, but there's just so many owners who get so many things very wrong.

Yup, and he won't sell in the Premier League* because it's the global platform from which he can promote the thing he actually gives a shit about. *unless there's a "too good to be true" bid

He has to go, he's clearly lost the fans, he appears to have lost the players, and with his selections it's evident he's lost the plot. We've 10 games to survive (which is appalling given the quality in the squad and the suggested aims at the beginning of the season) now's the time to bring in a steady hand like Moyes or whomever. Yeah, but he's not going, is he? Ashley has never made a sound managerial appointment deliberately and he's never made a decision in a timely fashion. I just don't get why a man who, on the face of things, seems to be an honourable man wouldn't resign? If the normally taciturn Match of the Day pundits are saying you're not a manager, I think it's time to hang up the clipboard. Christ, he's widely respected as an excellent coach, a great No2, why wouldn't you just be that? Be the best fucking Assistant manager in the league? I'd rather be loved for my limited success than hated for my failure. fwiw I can't see us surviving if he's not gone before Leicester. -
Poor choice of words, old bean.

It's only mic technique I've any say over. The tech stuff is done by the company. Oh and there's no editing

Lose lose for me. Win & McClaren stays, Lose & even if McClaren is fired, we're another fixture into trouble.

Mignolet is a worse 'keeper than Elliott. Danny Simpson is definitely worse than Janmaat.

Near to it. 1/2 way between Blyth & Whitley Bay

Guarantee it's a money decision. Ashley either wanted more for hosting the national team, or can make more money by letting the ground for different events around the same time.

Not really, Mam is from South East London and speaks Queen's English, Dad's from Glasgow but has lived away from there for 60 odd years. Never call her Mam to her face either, it's always Mum. Seaton Sluice isn't exactly Wallsend either. I get a bit of an accent when I come back up and spend time with my mates, but it's never what you'd call broad. It also comes back when I'm in Yorkshire
