  1. Haha this thread has me pissing myself here.
  2. It's a sad state of affairs when Lambias looks a lot more competant that Charnley. Him and Carr have to go too. As do Beardsley and Dave Watson. There is no part of this football club isn't rotten!
  3. Honestly at the moment it wouldn't bother me if he did show up. Don't get me wrong he'd be another piss poor appointment but in the very short term (ie this season), just anyone new might get something more out of that shambles than McClaren can.
  4. This is it. When Swanse looked to be sticking with their coach til the end of the season I was over the moon. But they saw sense and the guys had enough of an impact already to virtually guarantee their survival.
  5. There wasn't that many there. Must have been loads of people with tickets who didn't go if they sold that many. There was shit loads of empty seats in the Milburn stand.
  6. That's good point. He came from outside of football but which club owners don't? Did Ambramovic have a history in football before Chelsea? Did John Hall before he bought us? They (and most others) managed to learn on the job and appoint decent people to run the day to day. But Ashley seems to have learned nothing and won't make the changes to his team that are blatently needed.
  7. One thing struck me on Saturday when someone mentioned the lack of impact Steve Black has had. He's supposed to be for motivation purposes is he not? But isn't that just part of the managers job? The fact that McClaren from the start needed someone else for that role speaks volumes.
  8. I don't know how he can fail to see that the set up he has put in place at the club is a spectacular failure. Charnley, Carr and McClaren clearly need to go. I'm begining to wonder which one of the three is the biggest problem.
  9. He hasn't got football sense I'm in total agreement with that. But from a business sense he must know that what is happening at the moment isn't good for business and when that happens you have to make a change. He doesn't need to know anything about football to know that.
  10. Ashley is at least someone with some sort of business sense. I can't believe his business instincts having kicking in by now. Charnley seems to be someone who you wouldn't put in charge of organising a christmas party let alone run a multi milion pound company.
  11. Same with episode 1 of season 2. I really like it but it's not in the same class as breaking bad. Could get a lot more interesting when things get more dark for him leading up to who he becomes in BB.
  12. He's clearly someone who's been promoted to a position so far in excess of his ability that he has absolutely no clue what to do next. Ashley has to take the decision out of his hands.
  13. Makes sense. Keep doing the thing that has got us into this position! For slow and deliberate read, haven't got a fucking clue what they're doing!
  14. Can you not give minus marks? Take that cunt out to a field and shoot him. Put everyone out of his misery. I've never hated a Newcastle player before but I will rejoice the day that cunt leaves the club. I prefer Owen to that fucking prick.
  15. Charnley and Carr need to follow McClaren out of the door before the summer too. They're more culpable for current state than McClaren.
  16. I honestly don't think being in the championship will get us any closer to shifting Ashley. He'll stay as long as he wants and there's fuck all we can do about. This club deserves relegation now but it will still hurt like hell so I definitely don't want it to happen.
  17. Saw that last week. I get a bit of Irish in there and a bit of Australian. Maybe they weren't sure which Newcastle they were talking about? I did like that they got Radgey and Doylum in there but it did seem that someone had researched Geordie words so they just stuck every one they could find in there without considering what they actually meant.
  18. The streams were a bit ropey for me yesterday for the West Brom game. Eventually got a decent one on Hallow but then realised I had no interest in watching (that game in particular and football in general after Saturday) so stuck an episode of Gotham on instead.
  19. With McClaren in charge we are definitely down. If we got a new manager bounce it's possible that we could get enough points to stay up given that there is clearly another three shit teams around us and we have to play all of them. Beat those three (particularly the mackems and Norwich) and we have a chance, lose to them and we'll be playing Preston and Brentford next season.
  20. Didn't know the tramps had only drew. Takes me down to 99% that!
