are all rivers down? few iv got arent working! PM?
-
Mackems getting beat aswell!!
-
4th game in a row unchanged. Different bench though. NUFC: Harper, Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Enrique, Gutierrez, Tiote, Nolan, Barton, Best and Lovenkrands. SUBS: Krul, Perch, Campbell, Saylor, Raylor, Ranger and Kuqi. Looking at the bench kinda shows how weak the squad is mind. 3-0

If anyone knows of a nice little river then a PM would be appreciated! Thanks!
-
Pardew said he should be ok. If not then we could see Raylor on the right, Barton moved inside with Tiote and Nolan in the hole behind Best. That or Ranger and Best up top.

Your Fav NUFC goal of the season so far?
Deano replied to paulwynuk42NUFC's topic in Newcastle Forum
1. Tiote v Arsenal 2. Ben Arfa v Everton 3. Carroll v Liverpool 4. Barton v Villa 5. Gutierrez v Man City Other nice or meaningful goals were both of coloccini's, shola v chelsea and nolan's against the unwashed. -
Starting 11? ---Harper--- ---Simmo---Willo---Colo---Enrique--- ---Barton---Nolan---Tiote---Jonas--- ---Best---Lovenkrands--- Would that be 3 games unchanged? I think we are gonna muller this lot today

Could we get a top ten in youtube clips in here? I dont know how to do it... -
Great player, but shocking attitude. Don't think we can afford to have a luxury player like that just yet. I'd prefer to go for Kadlec, Albrighton and Derdiyok (a goal every 1 1/2 games in the Bundesliga is decent) Albrighton is too lightweight and doesn't have enough quality, would be bench at best He's small, I'll give you that, but he's clearly got quality and exactly who would you pick ahead of him on the wing? Buy someone better than him, and play them. He's not better than Barton or Jonas Personally i would keep Barton and Jonas on the wings next season too. People slate Jonas for his final ball but he brings so much more to the team. Obviously if we get the chance of a top quality winger then that changes but there isnt alot out there better than what we have.

No fucking thanks. While we're talking West Brom, what about Chris Brunt? I reckon there's a few of the Championship teams we could go sniffing round, sure there's players who could be cherry picked at a reasonable price. Now Brunt and Dorrans would be worth a go.

No fucking thanks.

Come on Spartans!!

That also is a good shout. Seen him a few times whilst i was in glasgow. Looks a good player and very composed infront of goal.

I think he has good potential. I think we only need one player, possibly two, to go straight into the 1st team...others would be quality cover.

Stevie should thank you for proving his point btw. I never read the rest of the thread like alex. Just posted my opinion. Albeit a common one. That's what he said. I don't think this is a bad thing btw, quite the opposite, but I don't see it as a huge positive either, long term. I'm of the view he's quite happy here at present and the club are insuring they have a bit more bargaining power should other clubs come knocking. Absolutely Alex i agree but for the short term at least it means we are showing positive signs. He easily has been the best buy this year and could well end up being our rock in midfield for years to come. He keeps the team together and makes us tick and his importance to the team has been highlighted in the fact we've tied him down on a 6 years contract. It IS great news. That said, for all i am an optimist there is an air of cynicism about this....Player of huge promise, adapted well, now on at 6 year contract means we can demand at least 20mil for him. He will still have his price, just now it will be alot more than yesterday. Its still good news though mate. You just said it was absolutely fantastic news man. Anyway, I agree with your 2nd post In an argumentative mood thday ay alex? I thought you were doing a perfectly good job of arguing with yourself so I thought I'd leave you to it. What? I made a point, then agreed with what you added to it? Hmmm It was a tongue in cheek comment but your 2nd post contradicted your first a bit. IMO. No it didnt...i said it was fantastic news but being realistic there is always going to be cynicism surrounding anything positive with this regime. Just broadening my opinion seeing as you clearly pointed out my origional one was a commonly held opinion. Your a funny man alex

Very confident about this game now. Boltons away form is shite, our home form is indifferent but with the feel good factor back and a little bit of momentum build up, added with the fact they hammered us at their place im confident of a good win. If we get an early goal then a BIG win. Tiote to score as well 3-0 Tiote, Nolan and Barton.

Kadlec? The Czech kid? Other than being class on FM i dont know how good he actually is? Does he start for Sparta? Albrighton is a good shout but being english would demand a fee well over his actual value. Cover for both wings though. RE: African players not having good technique? Drogba, Essien and ahem Tiote?

How many players, in what positions and who would you like us to be in for come the summer? Realistically? Adel Taarabt 5mil and Erin Derdiyok 10mil would be my main targets and then look about europe or further afield for cover at LB, RB and another ST.
-
Aye and with a strong midfield and a solid defence it certainly would of been a very very good team all round. Whats done is done though ay? Id like to see us get Derdiyok and play him with Ben Arfa upfront. He's another in a similar mould to Carroll...big strong lad, good ariel ability and a little bit more skillful too imo.

All the signs are good at the minute. Could MA be starting to show his ambition? Carver will be instrumental in this clubs continued growth...he knows the club and is a very good coach. Lets get a few more key contracts tied up and re-inforce this positive pattern in the summer with 5 quality signings.
-
Absolutely fantastic news. Has shown massive promise and really has been the PL's signing of the season. Great to tie him down for the rest of his best years. Lets just hope that now he has signed the rest will follow and then big bucks is spent in the summer.
