Its a disgrace really. Capello says he picks on form and arguably Barton has been the best english midfielder this season so far. I'd go as far as saying i think Simpson deserves a call up too.

I think he will probably play as lone striker with Nolan in the hole or vice versa. Before the striker crisis he probably would of played on the left in place for Jonas but now i think we will need his pace and trickery even more upfront.

For me its now all about the summer. It we dont spend a lot then we finally will have no doubt about his intentions. To be fair there's only you and Skidmark that don't see the guy for what he is. I believe we'll stay up due to our current league position, if we were hanging on 26 points or so though I'd be very worried. Staying up though, as you've acknowledged will be the height of ambition from here on in. Regardless how it's dressed up. Nah i dont think so. It was always our goal this season. Next season progression and so on. Still think we will finish top 10 and with a few quality signings, in which there is NO excuse not to buy with this money, then we progress again next season. I still think that come the summer there will be people looking at buying us again.
