  1. Aye, tell them you'd put a water hazard on the 12th and plant a couple of trees here and there, lazy fuckers at that course, its got to be the most boring fuck off piece of straight flat golf Ive ever seen. Although admittedly, its the only course Ive ever played which had the remnants of a burnt out Fiesta on the 9th fairway....oh the wonders of Cowgate Il bare that in mind Is it a shithole then? I presumed with it being NUFC Golf course then it was owned by the club and would be a pretty good course?
  2. I dont recall reading much if anything which suggested we had to sell to buy? For all the likes of S.Taylor, Coloccini, Enrique, Gutierrez, Nolan, Smith, Barton and Carroll could all attract bids i dont think we have to or will sell any of them. But would would like to think we would consider bids upto or around 3 mil for Smith, Nolan and Barton just to get the dead legs and heavy wages off the books. R.Taylor 1.5mil and Best 1mil are the only two who i think will be sold in addition to the releases of Butt , Pancrate and Hall.
  3. Which is what will happen imo Agreed. Three year plan is what we should be looking at really. Summer 2010...OUT: Butt, Pancrate, Hall and Best (£1mil)...IN: 1st choice RB, CM and CF + LB, LW and RW as cover = £25mil - Aim: Staying up. Summer 2011...OUT: Shola, Smith, Nolan and Lovenkrands (5mil??)...IN: CF x2, CM x2 + Few youngsters with potential = £30mil - Aim: Mid table to top half (12th - 8th) Summer 2012...OUT: Anyone aging...IN: 1st choice big hitting CF, Top quality CB and Top quality LW + RW = £50mil - Aim: Top 6-7 Simples. Aye £105mil over 3 years. Fuck me you need a good kick up the arse. Tbf 25mil this summer and more or less the same the summer after isnt too much to expect IF FMA has indeed learned from his mistakes and does infact want to have a go. However after readin that back 50mil in the 3rd summer mite of been too much. £50mil over 3 summers is a bit much to expect in my honest opinion See thats from one extreme to another really. If we are 1st of all to establish ourselves and stay in the PL after next season then 25mil needs to be spent. Then if we are to progress up the table then another 25mil needs to be spent. Futher to that if we are to get close to european football in 3 years then a minimum of 25mil would need to be spent again. This...is only what i think SHOULD happen if we are to get anywhere close to where we were under KK and SBR...... FMA has the chance to right some wrongs and a good summer would go a long way towards that. I fully expect him to sell up after next season though.
  4. Are you for real? They play as attractive football as it gets. They might be shit in the premiership but atleast they will play football. I think he means that as a club, they're dull. Their fans aren't owt special, the ground is average, the manager is not Mr Charisma and they're from a miserable city. That fuckin god awful accent too...oh and that tool off MOTD 2 supports them...
  5. Bit of both i'd say...predominantly competency based, experience in horticulture is essential, which i have......just wondered if any 'sensible' people on here could maybe give me some good advice on what kind of things i should drop into conversation. What sort of things i should look to research so it looks like i know my stuff Hole in one eh
  6. Full strength 11 thmora like...shackles off...good open game of football as Blackpool will come at us as they want to push for the playoffs. Still think we will do them like. 3-1 ---Harper--- ---Simpson---Williamson---Coloccini---Enrique--- ---Routledge---Guthrie---Nolan---Gutierrez--- ---Lovenkrands---Carroll--- Carroll Lovenkrands Barton (off the bench) --These imho will be in our starting 11 come next season. Williamson, Guthrie and Lovenkrands could be starters but id hope we sign better.

  8. Seriously man i was starting to think you were alrite but infact your just a childish bellend. Grow up.
  9. Am i missing something? Fuck off Kevin.
  10. Got an interview for the "Trainee Greenkeeper" post at Newcastle United Golf Course over on Ponteland Road on Tuesday! Nervous as hell like. Any advice?
  11. Enrique, Gutierrez and Routledge are the only ones with notable pace. We have pace is good areas but i think pace at RB would balance things out on the wings. We do genuinly need a bit of pace in central midfield but id say more pressing is the need for it upfront. If we are to go with AC as the target man then we definitely need a jetheeled striker alongside him.
  12. Which is what will happen imo Agreed. Three year plan is what we should be looking at really. Almost everybody on here and another certain message board were harping on about needing a "5 year plan" [to guarantee success] when Mike Ashley took over because we had never had such a thing before despite being recognised as one of the countries biggest clubs. We are now into Mike Ashley's 3rd year of this mythical "5 year plan" Indeed we are Leazes but i dont give a fuck about that. We went down and now we are back up again...fresh start. Mistakes have been made and i hope this time lessons HAVE been learned. A new plan NEEDS to be in place...steady progress is needed.....not a total 60mil blowout.
  13. Which is what will happen imo Agreed. Three year plan is what we should be looking at really. 14. Aye, routledge has been a terrible signing like Sniffer obviously cant smell a good player.....
  15. I dont think Taylor or Carroll will be sold, like i said if we were to sell a CD then Coloccini would be the one as he is on 70k pw and wasnt great in the PL last time. Taylor and Carroll are due for contract talks anyway.
  16. I think that wage cap was implemented JUST for the recruits in January. I think a more realistic wage cap of around 30-40k is more likely. Remember Butt 40kpw, Pancrate 10k pw, Hall 10k pw (presuming we are paying his wages) will be leaving, that alone is 60k pw and 2 players fitting into the PL wage cap. I dont think Smith 60k, Barton 60k, Raylor 30k, Ameobi 30k or Nolan 40k will be sold, i think they will be kept and used rotationally...all experienced and all with PL experience which even without notable 'talent' is still important. They all except Smith and Barton would fall under the PL wage cap if it were to be around 30-40k pw. Then we have Coloccini 70k and Gutierrez 50k who are on big wages. These two are the two i think if anyone was to leave FMA would look to shift them out. All in all as things stand we have a MUCH smaller wage bill than our last time in the PL...the smallest wage bill in our recent history so with the increased revenue of around 50mil i would expect about 20mil to be spent on players (not including wages). 20 mil is a realistic figure and one which is very probable, that number could be increased should any of Smith, Barton, Coloccini or Gutierrez go. And in turn minus their wages we could maybe have a higher wage cap meaning attracting better quality of players. Its all speculation, ifs and buts, but i do see us spending 20mil and keeping the majority of our squad. I dont see us selling many, if any of our players....just letting the out of contracts go.

  23. If true then 25mil transfer budget would go a good distance towards strengthening our side fivefold.
