Is Kevin DannyB in disguise? On second thoughts DannyB had an element of intelligence with his wummery. FoK

Best Don Hutchinson could've hoped for was being a one cap wonder. Carroll's the same. I've got serious doubts he'll ever be a decent PL player never mind an England one. Especially as he strikes me as thinking he's already made it. He's the sort of player who needs to graft a lot more than he does to fulfil his potential because although he's good in the air and has a decent touch (nowt special on either count like) he's hasn't got the attributes to stroll about like he does and be a good player at the same time. Would love him to prove me wrong, obviously. Bit harsh Alex no? The lad does have a berbatov like swagger on the pitch i agree and probably should work harder. In the sense that when he has done well comin back and helpin defensively, which he does alot, then he should be bustin a gut to get forward again. Where i think your being harsh is where you say you have serious doubts that he has what it takes to be a good PL striker? His touch and ariel abilty as you refer to as "decent" and "nothing special" is actually where i lose you. His ariel abilty albeit not perfect is still the best he has had from a striker since les, al and dunc. It can be improved aye but for a lad of what 19? He is showing good potential! He has just banged in 19 goals last season and i know it was against CCC goalkeepers and denfences but you can only beat whats infront of you and he has. Give the lad a chance, see what he does in his first full season in PL as 1st choice striker then judge him.

Bassong? Beye? Duff? Martins? I actually think only Owen, Viduka and Geremi would of went had we stayed up tbh. OMHO it was the sales of Given, Milner and N'zogbia which blew the wheels off our premiership wagon.

2nd and 3rd kits are simple but spot on...Very nice! The home kit is absolute wank...total fuckin let down. Plastic transfers and unbalanced logo placement.....just fuckin shit man! I was really looking forward to the release of the home kit more than anything but if that is the final design then im sure as fuck not buying that fucker. It looks like a fake you would buy off a sweaty turk. However i shall be buying the white one!

To say "i was glad to see us get relegated" is fuckin pathetic man! That said though, i was one of few who did see the positives outwaying the negatives, one was that FMA mite actually sell up which unfortunatly didnt turn to fruitition. All the other things i expected did happen though. We got rid of most of the dead wood but more importantly the mercenary cunts who were happy picking up ther inflated wages to match their inflated ego's. We reduced the wage bill to almost half. We gave oppertunities to a few young lads to establish themselves ie Kadar and Carroll. Carroll showing his goalscoring ability IS there contrary to what alot believed. We got some much needed stability. And we have a squad which WANTS to play for our club and each other. Yes the negatives are still there, FMA, and increased debt and on paper a more inferior squad BUT i do think relegation has done us the world of good. It was a wake up call, a point of realisation and a chance to wipe the slate clean and start again. But hey...thats all in the past now, im fed up of talkin and hearin about it tbh....i just want to enjoy the WC and see what our club does in the summer and look forward to next season although we all know its not going to be easy. For the record...The squad we have now, with no additions CAN keep us up, just, with a bit of luck, but im still confident of us getting 3-4 new faces through the doors.

In the calm, light of day 24 hours later, is it really...
Deano replied to accadacca's topic in Newcastle Forum
I actually agree with accadacca tbh. While in an ideal world we would spend a minimum of 15mil on new players we un fortunatly dont have that luxury. Its is frustrating that there will be "no new financial outlay" but i have said all along the squad we have now could and should keep us up. A few bosmans from that list and a couple of youngsters on loan ( lansbury, wilshire of arsenal and naughton of spurs) and we will be ok. That said lets not hide from the fact it is going to be a tense hard faught battle to stay up but that tenecious never say die attitude within the squad now will serve us well. For all i hate FMA and cuntlips Llambias i can however understand that what he is tryin to do for our finances will benefit the club in the long run as well as the fat man himself.....So long as we stay up. I do think however that that statement, as vague as it is and as potentially misleading as other statements in the past does not totally confirm we wont spend anything. I think it was to mislead the media really but also doesnt fill us fans with a great deal of optimism. I think come January if we are struggling then we will see a small amount invested in the squad. Im not worried......yet. -
We will win 2-1 in the final against Spain.

LM you are the human form of the bedlington terrier....Yap yap yap fuckin yap yap yap. Makes you want to volley the annoying white shite.
-
Yeah when he 1st signed he looked promising but i think his unjury could be a recyrring thing, maybe he could be injury prone or maybe he jusy wasnt good enough? If he or they were any good then they would still be here tbh.
-
Was there a statement released this week? Cant find nowt...

Any idea who the other four were out of interest? Wesley Ngo Baheng, Frank Wiafe Danquah, Jonny Godsmark, Darren Lough and Callum Morris were all out of contract. Man Utd let alot go every year. We are no Man Utd but these lads werent exactly pulling up trees were they? Id think with the small wages they were on if they were any good then CH would of offered them new terms. They werent good enough but good luck to them.

Stevie is a legend, stevie is a legend na na na naa!

Agreed but its a horrible club. At least Puma showing they CAN do simple.

Many before the season started feared we would be languishing in the Championship for a few years, maybe never even return to the Premiership under the stewardship of Fat Mike Ashley. But a summer of turmoil, chaos and uncertainty has been followed suprisingly with a season of consistency, resolution, comradery and stability has ment we have swaggered through this season brushing teams aside, marching forward and proving alot people wrong along the way. Who would of though last summer that we would finish the season with an unbeaten home record not seen in over a hundered years? That we would finish with over a hundered points, but maybe most suprisingly with one of the best defensive records in the country? Although "big name" players like Owen, Viduka, Martin and Duff left in the summer along with Bassong and Beye, and Given, N'Zogbia and Milner a few months before...we are actually a better TEAM now that then. We are all in agreement that the SQUAD is not as talented, as gifted, but for many many many years we have not seen this type of togetherness and commitment from a newcastle team as a UNIT...Newcastle UNIT-ed. Winning the CCC and collecting club records along the way is one thing but re-establishing ourselves as a Premier League team again is another, in our recent past we have been used to challenging at the top, fighting for european places, great european adventures. On the other side and our more recent past we have been used to the relegation scraps and it was only a matter of time before we finally and inevitably slipped out of a League we took for granted. One thing we are not used to is having to re-establish ourselves...learn how to rub shoulders with the big boys again, and this summer is what its all about. While the World Cup provides us with a nice distraction, i hope, pray even, that CH and his team are working hard to prepare our squad for battle in the Premier League. Forumulating plans on how to stay strong away from home, how to continue our good work and foundations laid this season in terms of consistency and defensive form. But most of all i hope CH is seriously and honestly assessing our squad and is in the hunt for 5 quality players, 3 of which need to fit straight into the 1st team. Right Back, Centre Midfield and Upfront. You get that Chris? Arguably and an opinion i share is that our squad/1st team IS good enough to JUST stay up next year, but why settle for that? Nobody is asking for us to push for european places...NOBODY. All we want is moderate ambition and gradual improvement. A few shrewd dealings in the Transfer market could well be the difference between a relegation scrap and finishing comfortably around 13th in our 1st season back. Finally...Well done lads, you have done well, you have proved alot of people wrong, answered alot of critics, but the work starts now...phase one - completed. Phase two - Establishment and Improvement. Keep on Keepin On

Source? Im pleased if true! Krul, Kadar and Vuckic to start for me like. I'd play... ---Krul--- ---Simpson---Williamson---Kadar---Enrique--- ---Guthrie----------Nolan---------Routledge--- ---Vuckic--- ---Lovenkrands---Carroll--- 2-1 Carroll with his 20th of season and Guthrie with his 5th.
-
You not got no chest hair like?
-
Good. Shame CH says he will be the only one as i'd like to see Kadar, Vuckic and Spear get some time on the pitch too.
-
Kris Boyd is out of contract!?! Boyd Albin D'allesandro Ebondo Cleverley WE SHOULD BE GOING IN FOR ALL OF THEM!
-
Definitely would take Gunter seeing as we are on the hunt for a RB.
-
I always thought that he was a good player, but I think his level is CCC, plus there is no real potential sell on value. As an aside, CH has already said Vuckic is going to be in the first team squad next season, so he may not actually be looking for a striker. When? Didnt think Vuckic was a striker like....what do i know...
-
You not think Routledge and Gutierrez are good enough? They may not be world class but i certainly think they are good enough for what our immediate aims are...13th-17th place finish next season. Barton and Guthrie COULD do a job as our attacking CM. Obviously in an ideal world we would get someone better in but that wont happen. 1st Team defensive CM is a priority as well as a 1st Team RB and CF. Cover at LB, Both wings and upfront also important.
-
its not hard to make a better away strip to be honest like I was one of the few who actually liked it! Would of liked to of seen more of our 'Milan' effort though.
-
I think both of them a really fuckin good like!
