I said we'd come between 12th and 16th, said we'd come top 6 the season before, and I think we'll come 6th again next season based on absolutely fuck all.

I think the set piece goals is very telling too. 10/11 - 20 11/12 - 8 12/13 - 6 Shows you how much we must practise them since Hughton left. More than chance that.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8700404/ Dave Whelan spot on for once that Everton aren't big enough to have a top manager.

You have to look at the context. Everton are a small club in modern football to get them top 10 nine times is a major achievement, to have a good side at that club is a major achievement. He'll have no problems.

I accept some of the points being made here like. The pressure at Everton being the size they are is virtually non existent, from speaking to two media people every day to speaking to fifty will be a massive change, as will seeing 75000 every week as opposed to 32000 on a good day. It's such a huge leap he's making but I can't stress enough that he's capable. What he's done with a club of Everton's size is utterly remarkable. When you look at things like infrastructure and fanbase, Sunderland should be doing better than Everton, but he's had that little club top 10 in nine of his eleven seasons, absolutely incredible. If he does half as well at Man Utd, there'll be many Premier League's, even Champions League's to come.

You can point to the fact that Tottenham are in London, and the North has suffered more greatly from the recession, but within the last decade it doesn't mask a £80m swing between the two clubs, nor does it explain why we generated more money in 2003 than we did in 2012. Remarkable really.

Guess work tbh. Hope this starts the decline of that scabby club Everton though.

Said weeks ago Moyes will be in charge next season. SAF is the greatest manager this country has ever known, he altered his managerial style to go with the times, and his systems produced one of the best youth programmes in the history of the game.

I'm not an idiot, and I don't think someone who has cried racism in the past should be joking about it neither.
-
He could've chosen a better far less sensitive subject to make a joke of, especially as he is one who's cried racism himself in the past.
-
Some photographer asked him if he could take a photo because he looked "unique". Sammy is suggesting a racial intent as he was the only black person there....possibly. Arsehole for even saying it.
