Ironic when you consider the West Brom game was the final straw for Ashley. If true I wish Chris all the best (apart from when he comes up against us). Could be some game, last of the season at SJP if we haven't consolidated league status by then.

Might aswell question the size of Saha's penis while you're at it!
-
He was poor against Arsenal but that doesn't suddenly mean his season is in decline. Progressing into a brilliant left back who can drive forward and cross, vital in todays game

Englands slightly poorer version of fibreglass. Looks a real talent like the spaniard. Mind you though is an absolute cunt who was leaving niggly little elbows in the challenges I saw in the second half of the game yesterday. Moans more times than my next door neighbour on a Saturday night

The game and second half atmosphere was electric but I think the result deflects how shit and permantetly offside best was and how completely anonymous lovendkrands was. Appalling performance from the top 2, strikers a necessity this summer. -
Good stuff mate, I had some fella next to me saying the exact same about RVP in his team aswell

I sit at the other end of the pitch but it never even occurred to me that his disallowed goal was onside. I just assumed he was off. Again. I assumed he was offside too. After watching MOTD he was in a stupid position anyway and was lucky rosicky was a lazy fuck. Steve harpers celebration was brilliant! -

Just got back home from this immense game. Really was a tale of two halfs and the two turning points for me were djourou going off and obviously the diaby SO. We were absolutely brilliant as soon as we scored the first and when Nolan banged it last minute I thought I was dreaming, so close to going in. On an off note was watching best the first half and he was offside on every occasion, literally everytime. He was absolutely shit but his finish for his offside goal was decent as well as his goal. -

Alright lads and lasses. 5 lads and I are heading to watch this game next week. Does anyone know of any cheap hotels close to SJP to stay a couple of nights at and any opinions on the bluebird hotel will be appreciated. Is it close enough and so on? Cheers

Liverpool bid £35 million+ for Carroll

Thread is too long to read on my phone. Dont know how old it is but we've rejected a 23m bid from the yids which is good news -
They've had a ridiculous bid for Suarez accepted so could be a sign. Almost 23m

Holloway is starting to piss me off a little. Milking it a bit and spurting the same shit in the media. Don't agree with the fine but with wolves getting it last year it was inevitable. Funny how they wait till the dust settles in terms of holloway stating he would offer his resignation, then fine them.

He didn't lose just his 'own' money, it was company money [sD] hence it was shareholders' money albeit the other 49% involved. The game was played to settle a dispute with the investment bankers over outstanding legal fees incurred by Merrill Lynch during the SD floatation. I'm sure Freshfields/Mort nearly had to play some hard-ball to get Ashley to cough up his outstanding legal fees relating to the NUFC takeover. Didn't Mort make a special trip to Tyneside for reasons related to his debt/fees owed to Freshfields. Unless there's a concrete & legally binding clause ordering him to actually fill a debt [ie. *the stadium debt, following an ownership change, for instance] kicking & screaming it would appear the man has a recalcitrant attitude towards other service providers at the top end of town, where his retail empire is concerned. I've already posted one instance involving Umbro, when he attempted to welch on a contractual deal by refusing to take a delivery of a massive shipment of replica shirts, and thus not pay his outstanding bill. As well as being an unambitiousn club owner, there is distinct lack of honour in his operational methods/practices. *albeit he whinged about it for long enough, including misling the public over the legal specifics of the debt payback ie. the 'banks were banging on the doors' claim. He's a twat fair doos, but losing 200k in spoof was worth a laugh...

Cheers mate, was a decent effort!

Shitter, I put 2 quid on Anelka next got 15 so wacked 5 on him again! Here's hoping
-
