Should have replied 'Apart from £40m worth of footballers you thick scouse cunt'. Fuuuuuuuuuuuu If only Id thought of that
  2. Kinda how Venture works. They stand around in the metro centre giving away leaflets offering a free photo session and a framed picture for £10 or something. They do that as the hook is to get you to buy bigger prints where their prices rocket.

Phone call I just had at work "Im told you are selling one of your commercial vans?". Me " No sorry, we're not" Caller "Yes Im told you are" Me "Sorry you must be mistaken, we're not selling anything" Caller "When will you be selling one?" Me "Ive no plans at the moment" Caller "Always the same with you Geordie Cunts isnt it? Never wanting to sell anything you Fucking Geordie Wanker" Me laughing "Aye thanks for that" Caller hangs up Not the first time I've had this and I know it's basically a scam. A tactic often used by our "travelling" friends. They buy and old vehicle off you and then come back with invoices saying they have had to get a lot of work done to fix it and they threaten you for cash to cover it etc. Such a lovely bunch. Yes, he was a scouser. Was last time as well. They get our number off our van that does the cheshire/mersey area.
  4. Someone done something similar and was caught out. Done it through the groupon think iirc. Personally I'd not go down that route as you sell yourself short. If starting out and you dont have the pressure of it being full time now, then Id push it on and do work that pays well rather than something for nowt. Word of mouth is the best seller you can have and it's free. Just make sure you have a business card to leave with people who use you or enquire with you. Site looks canny btw. Not fancy landscape stuff? Only asking as you get a lot of hotels / spa's and such wanting images of their grounds etc and I dont think "commercial" quite sells that. Your costs are fine all things considered. Good luck with it. Dont think Ill ever head that way myself, I aim to maintain mine as a hobby and do stuff for nowt for now. Mind, if I sold this business or won the lottery then I might consider it
  5. +1 Agreed. Doesnt seem right. It's ok, Deano won't have seen it That made me chuckle mind! I havent donated. I donated twice recently to the Breast cancer charity. Having recently lost a friend because of it Hubby and I regularly donate to St Johns and the air ambulance. I prefer to donate on an impulse if something moves me or some deep feeling makes me want to help. I don't want to donate in this instance using it as a means to have a go at Deano. Not bitching at those who have donated either. A good charity has gained. You dont have to justify giving ot not giving tbf, certainly not here.
  6. Done. Aye, no need for grief on the just giving site. Keep it in here. That, £5 out of my kids pocket money this week, thanks for that
  7. Give him a chance, its only half nine
  8. Only place I have cheese is in a sarnie, toastie, pizza or on its own with crackers. Wor lass puts it on pasta and all sorts, not my thing and certainly not in a curry
  9. He's doing well atm but I think he plays much better along side someone like Colo. If you put him alongside someone like Williamson I think his game drops. Prone to the odd senseless blunder but canny atm and lets be honest, we aint exactly blessed in that position currently. I rate Colo > Taylor > Williamson
  10. I applaud him for trying to take his chance, but that doesnt mean I should accept him. Never rated him at all. Course Im glad he's scored a few but to even mention him in the same breath as Shearer is laughable. Ok, they both play up front, thats where the similarities end. He's getting a run and taking his chances, great. Good on him. Still shite though. Ok, maybe shite is hard, but he is not a top 10 side main no one striker. Thats the problem. He's the best we have (pun intended). CT says he is currently scoring, my that I think he means he scored in the last game. Thats it. If he starts scoring 1 in 2 or 3 after starting for the next 10 games then I may reconsider but Ive seen nowt to convince me otherwise. Oh, and I didnt mention Ba as Ive not seen enough of him. I think he needs more game to get his fitness back up and sharpness. I can't really judge to be fair to him until then.
  11. I'll save LM the bother. Have we really fallen so far that fucking Best (oh the irony of his name) and Shola are our deadliest options up front? The no 1 priority we had this summer and they fucked it up due to do being so tight arsed. (Answer : yes we have)
  12. Good stuff. I will do that on monday. Can you do summit with the cock who has posted my name and location please. Bang out of order. You know you have WB as your profile location?
  13. Why did you have to add that bit in? It just makes you look the twat Why? Because of all the stick...4 pages long on here because i didnt jump like a little bitch. £50 is nowt and i'll pay it as and when i see fit. I'l be transfering money from my business account and donating monday mornin. Why you doing that like? Not just use your own current a/c? Or you getting the business to pay it? You could get a tax deduction if the business pays out as a donation, or if you pay personally the value of the donation is increased assuming you pay tax, which you will. I pay myself cash mate. Only use current account for DD's and standing orders. How would i get a tax deduction? HMRC Here you go.

  17. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20110902/ne...2281670_2439966 A statement from Newcastle United Managing Director Derek Llambias Now that the transfer window has closed, we have had some time to reflect on the business we have conducted over the summer. Our aim was to secure young players who represented value for money and could add real strength to the squad. The majority of our transfer dealings were completed in the early part of the window and we feel we have signed some players of exceptional quality. Yohan Cabaye, Sylvain Marveaux, Mehdi Abeid, Demba Ba and Gabriel Obertan were all brought in early and we have seen these players settle quickly into the squad and perform well on the pitch. Earlier this week we were delighted to sign Davide Santon from Inter Milan to fill our left-back position after the departure of Jose Enrique. Davide is an excellent young prospect and we're sure he'll be another superb addition to the squad. We also welcomed young goalkeeper Rob Elliot from Charlton Athletic who will help us retain healthy competition for that position after loaning out Fraser Forster to Celtic. Of course we had also hoped to secure a further striker in the window, in addition to Demba Ba. Work to bring a striker into the club began early in the summer. Negotiations were complex and protracted and unfortunately it was disappointing that ultimately we could not secure our priority target. Whilst we did turn our attention to alternative prospects in the latter stages of the window, we have a very clear transfer policy and will not make knee-jerk decisions at the last-minute which are not in the best interests of the club. We understand that supporters will feel frustrated that we did not sign another striker during the window, but it was not for lack of trying that we did not bring our final target in.
  18. indeed he did, on many occasions, and it was also quoted on many occasions too [by me] that it was also Mike Ashleys NINTH transfer window, not the 1st or 2nd, but the NINTH Posters on other sites are now blaming the ex owners for selling the club to Mike Ashley. You really couldn't make it up. I don't always agree with TP but I think he makes his case well and so on. I think that you could conceivably make excuses for Ashley (at times I hasten to stress) before this window. I'm not defending his myriad errors but I can see why he might do x,y and z in order to make up for them. There's no excuse now though imo. A few will continue to make excuses but they're so stupid as to barely consider. In a perverse way I'm almost pleased now that virtually all and sundry can see him for what he is. I'm still going to refuse to join any political camps as i just dont see the point as massive failure now doesnt preclude him doing something right in the future. For me its a question of the negatives outweighing the positives and am sure everyone agrees with that. The problem with politicising it means everything gets looked at through a certain light, is spun to meet the overall narrative and then despair sets in. For my own sake, i prefer to keep things compartmentalised into whats good and whats not good. I'm pissed off at the missed opportunity especially as i see weakness in Everton, Spurs, Villa, Sunderland etc. I still think we can enjoy some football this season and that we can improve on 46 points. Its not about scoring 56 goals or 41 at home in a season, we could score 11 less goals at home and still have a far superior record, as 7 teams above us did last year. Ashley's a cunt but i cant change that nor can i influence the situation, the trick is to work out how to continue enjoying your football whilst accepting that you can do little to change things. I'm also still not sure if failure this time is down to incompetence, bad luck or deliberate. Its hard to tell so its hard to know how to feel about it. Id settle with that pov. Im neither one nor the other but agree MA is a cunt. End of. Like Alex says he is trying his damnedest (MA, not Alex) to destroy my love for the team and game. I often feel like Im clinging on to it in defiance of him. No matter what he does I'm resolute (despite giving up my seat this year). The bloke hasnt a clue about running a club imo but can run a business (on the cheap). I think my single biggest issue is their utter disregard of the fans (their customers) and how they just steamroll ahead without a thought or letting us know what is going on. Its like the sign at the club, why not just say "we are doing this...." on their website? Rather than say nowt? Or the last day of the transfer window. Iam 100% convinced that they had no intention of signing anyone and they just let slip some details to journo's to make it look like they were trying. A total smoke screen imo but they didnt have the bollocks to come out an say so. Also saying they have a warchest for Jan puts them in exactly the same situation as now. Fucking fools. Truth is though, I think we still have a half decent side and can still finish mid table. It's just woefully thin and we're fucked in a few injuries. I think a FWD and a CH on loan would have made the outlook so much more positive.
  19. Ill chuck in as well if the useless fucker doesnt.
