  1. I dont see really why abuse should be directed at him. Sure he has to win us over but the situation largely is with DL/MA and to me thats where abuse should be (rightly) directed.
  2. Im a season ticket holder, had it around 20 years. I signed up for the 3 season ticket last time around. With that in mind, my youngest bairn is 1 and eldest 3. I work all week and despite the weekend being when I should spend time with the kids, I still put that to one side to go to the games. There has to be a point though, and one which I have now reached when I say "Do I keep getting fucked over again and again by this bloke, still give him my money to watch games at the expense of spending more time with the kids?". Like I say, no longer can I put the club and more specifically that fat wanker first on a weekend. I'll not be renewing. I'll still maybe get to the odd game, who knows.
  3. Last summer, after we'd just being promoted? You would have been any happier then? If he was replaced by Pardew back then I wouldn't have been happy but that's a completely different issue. You're asking about the timing. If you don't rate a manager it's obviously better to give a new bloke the chance to bring in his own players, coaching staff, etc. and have pre-season training with the squad than it is to wait for a manager to have a bad spell so you can have an excuse to get rid of him. The latter is obviously the coward's choice, which should come as no surprise I suppose. Can't believe something this elementary needs pointing out tbh. Its suprising what Tosh you talk at times. If its this bad now, it would have been blue fucking Murder in the summer. And again, most on here thought he wasnt good enough for the prem but he deserved a shot at the prem. I wasnt sure if he could handle the prem, especially not on one scraps I expected MA to fede him. So for me, if they knew they didnt want him (which is pretty clear they didnt) he should have went in the summer. But, as they kept him he should have had a new contract and an assitance and given a shot. Im bemused at why now? Again, where do think Pardew will have us finish that offers an improvement over what CH has done given Pardews vast ability over that of CH?
  4. So what do you propose? We just decide to finish 7th and stay in the CCC then? Not what Im saying at all. Im eluding to the fact that under MA it doesnt matter who is managing, we're fucked anyway. But Id rather be fucked back in the prem than in the CCC At least I can stick by that comment eh
  5. Yes. Simple question for you. As you thinks he's not, tell me in footballing terms why Hughtons better. Never been relegated from premiership, never shagged a players wife (or at least never been caught) never turned up drunk for training. never been sacked by a Division 1 club. Has beaten Sunderland 5-1 and Villa 6-0 in the same season Has beaten Arsenal away. Now show me the proof that Pardew is better. Tbf you know exactly my point and rather than give it serious argument you throw tripe like that up. (Your choice though) The gang of four were probably responsible for last season and I would guess that Chris just carried on coaching with a few media duties thrown in as well. I dont see any evidence of anything different. all during last season and pre season, the conversations on here were that he was not good enough for the prem and that he would be gone by Christmas. Even this season we have discussed how he perseveres with players when everyone else can see its not working. He hasnt appeared to show hes a great tactician. Or that he makes good use of substitutions to change a game. Or that he's a brilliant man motivator. In hindsight in appears that he has also just been a yes man. Do I think Pardew will do any of the above better, probably. Its quite suprising how so few on here cant seem to rest their emotions to one side, sit back and think about things in reality. Parky can do it (but knows not to go too far ), Chez does it very well and even Happy Face talks sense. The Hystrionic brigade though.....Dear me. I reckon the solidarity in the side throughout last season after relegation and into this season speaks volumes of his ability to pick the players up. You've heard from Chris and the gang of four that it was them who held a no holds barred meeting after the Aldershot game and put the do or die togetherness in place. Nolan even said it was him that ran the dressing room. Short memories. What about picking the side up after heavy defeats? You'll be saying that was Nolan as well I suspect? I've got nothing against Pardew. Yet. Plainly many fans have. But surely even you can see the timing and manner of CH's departure is wrong. But tell me something. We're in 12th now and Pardew is to bring in an improvment. How much further up the table do you expect him to finish? Its a tough one though isnt it. Last year a few on here were saying great for getting us up but no good for the prem. Can you imagine if they sacked him a week after promotion? What about once the window had closed in January? (imagine the shit storm then) What about after 5-1? Its clear they didnt want him so really I cant see when else would have been right. With regard to Pardew, the fact that THEY TRUST HIM means he will get the coaching staff he wants in and will probably get money to spend. Those two points alone will benefit our chances of improving. It also seems that players are coming out saying good things about Pardews management skill rather than knocking them. We're in 12th now and Pardew is to bring in an improvment. How much further up the table do you expect him to finish?

  8. If the current feeling is maintained I think this is a certainty. As you know, this is the last of the 3 year season ticket. I can see a fair few not renewing next year like.
  9. Is the plan to ring the ground with the protestors or all gather at the main entrance? Gathering at the Box Office Doing that will simply get the "rent a mong" crowd and give an image for Sky what it wont do is encourage others to join, theres no way that the area there is big enough to hold anything like the 500 you expect and impossible for the 10% we'd like to see. On top of that it will merely cause a blockage to fans who want to go into the game and end up causing arguments/ frustration and bad feeling between fans. It also has the prospect of being viewed as an angry mob by the police and broken up turning therefore into a public order issue. if they were to have a single file cordon around the ground it would alleviate those problems and have a better chance of being successful. three quarters of the ground dont even go past the box office and would therefore miss it and not join in. If you can organise enough through the internet to ring the place then nobody can get past without being aware of it and more guaranteed will join in. Good points PP. If I can also add that I'm not organising it, I'm just jumping on the back of it as am sick of doing fuck all bar sing abuse him.
  10. Thats just it though, they even said that is his target. We're sitting in 12th yet survival would be seen as success The beer thing is the same though. Try getting half of the ground not to have a pint before or during the game. Not going to happen. I dont dance like a monkey... Oh hang on.. wor lass might disagree with that actually
  11. I agree. Like I say, I expect to see 500, but if only 10% of people were up for it this could be nearer 4500.
  12. Is the plan to ring the ground with the protestors or all gather at the main entrance? Gathering at the Box Office
  13. So you think that despite everything, we should do nothing? I agree that 9/10 the so called "rent-a-mongs" stand there for Sky with their boouyocoutt banners. But this is those that have tickets that would go into the game later. This is also arranged by a lad who when I heard him on the radio, sounded reasonable. Do I think it will achieve anything? Unlikely. But I'm sick of sitting there and taking it, doing fuck all just like Ashley expects. There is likely to be what, 500 people? Will it be noticed at half time if the extra people arrived? Possibly not. but what if it was 5000? If we got 5000 fans who felt as strongly about doing something? if 5000 empty seats at half time were filled by fans singing their disgust at the way the club has once again been handled? This isnt just about the shoddy way CH was ejected, or the fact it's been done when we were finally getting some stability. It's also about the fact that once again we're getting fucked over by that fat useless cockney barrow boy. Edit : I also thought the idea of waving JJB Sports bags at the game was a great idea!
  14. A wee ditty (cos Im bored on my lunch ) "You might have raked Fletchers you might have raked Fonte's you might like to come in pissed after having your wicked way But just try Andy Carroll's and this is what we'll see Par-dew's jaw on top of a Christmas Tree!" 1. Pardew alledged to have had an affair with Carl Fletcher wife 2. Pardew alledged to have had an affair with Jose Fonte's wife 3. Pardew alledged to have came into training pissed 4. After saying "raped a player" on MOTD it was said viewers had miss heard him saying the player had been "raked"
  15. That's my reading of the situation as well. Daft thing is, he'll have been doing it in the best interests of the football club. How very dare he!
  16. Are they fuck. They'll be there trying to flog tickets to their comedy night. The AGM is going to be a ticket event?
  17. Are they fuck. They'll be there trying to flog tickets to their comedy night.
  18. I'm afraid I agree I agree that they can be twats when provoked and often heavy handed with no reason. But why provoke them? Why attack cars? In particular one carrying the heir to the throne Fucking hell, seems to me its just as well if half of that crowd cant afford to be educated further, seems a lost hope.
  19. See when I read that, I think "wanker". Why do you think police always deserve violence towards them? imo the only people who have an issue with the police are those who have an issue with law. I do though agree with your sentiment about students. Hardly the way to gain support is it?
  20. I know its been mentioned but thought it should have its own thread. Details I'm supporting this. I know people have said its against the players etc but its not. to me you have two options 1. Do something 2. Do nothing Every time we do nothing apart from bitch and moan and each time we get shafted a little bit more. This isn't againt Pardew for me. The players we understand are just as pissed off. Those that got relegated were at a very low point and it was CH thath picked them up and created a solid team spirit that had us promoted and currently see's us in 12th. That spirit has just beenh shattered by Ashley who clearly it out to look after mates and have a laugh no matter the consequence. He cares fucking nothing about this club or any single supporter so long as he gets to slap his fucking ugly sports direct logo around and brag to his mates about owning a football club. Enough is enough. The whole idea for this is to stay out of the ground until half time. We hope the players see we are supporting them by making a visual protest against the club for the treatment of CH and the club in general. The idea is that the difference is noticible between the two halfs but it will only work in numbers.
  21. Huge club - check Top five club in country - check Knock on door for funds - check Approached on Monday after Chris gone - aye ok
