My usual feeling on these kinda links is that a player like Henry, despite the season he has had, could still get a game at another team playing in the CL. Assuming that is his greatest desire (as seems to be most players). The only thing that would tempt him otherwise you would think, is money. We would have to pay over the odds to a player (him or otherwise) who could get a game for someone in the CL. We wont attract this kind of player on love alone, not until we can climb the table and get back into Europe.

That said, quite a few from my street are nufc supporters and there is a handy little coach that is put on each game from here into the town for a £5. Sounds ideal and means I can drink more / drive less

All mental today like. Took a day off to get a few things done. Had a bloke around measuring for blinds, dishwasher delivered that Ive plumbed in etc, electrician for security lights and a bloke is upstairs hammering away with the fitted bedroom.

Still cant help but feel this is just to open the doors for the aforementioned teams to come in.

Its a right fuck on re-installing like. When I could be arsed, I used to install my main stuff and then take an image of the drive for future ease. Now I just keep a folder on the pc with all my live applications and stuff and plod through it. No getting away from it being a pain in the arse like.

I'm not proud to be english I dont mean that I've anything against being English, but I wouldn't say it made me proud. I'm into my history, but more so local history. I have a good sense of who I am and where I came from through also having an interest in geneology. I often feel I have more in common with those north of the border than I do anyone down south. I'd say if anything, I was proud to be a Geordie or from the North East, but not necessarily English. Strange but true. I love our regenerated Quay side and its blend of art and commerse. I love that within 10mins you can be city centre or in the countryside I love that some of the best musicians have came from the north east I love our identity and that people always recognise a geordie and associate that with our football club I love that we have some of the most fantastic countryside right on our doorstep, that we have brown ale and peas pudding (not you lanky ), that we have stotty cakes and that after all these years we still hold onto some of our ancient dialect (its not slang you know!).

Its hard for anyone to judge what goes on behind the scenes. I know we picked up some youngsters during the window which I think is part of his thing. I'm still in the reserve judgement phase though. Yes its good he hasnt been making his mouth go to the press, but then I dont think he did at Leeds? The bloke that came was canny tbf like. I just gave him my last 2.5 years returns (now thats a lot of paper!) and a few files and he seemed happy.
