I only really listen to Parachutes now. The other two don't really do much for me.

Fields - Song For The Fields, Sisters Heretic (Live) Their debut single is out this week on vinyl (on their own label, Black Lab) , with an EP slated for June. They reckon they have enough material for an album after only 6 months. They've got some freebie downloads on their myspace page. I think they're on under "songforthefields"

Sigur Ros - Hoppípolla I literally can't get enough of this one. Just makes me smile!

The one I see is still NHS but they are wanting to cut back on NHS patients, from April 1st infact. Infact this past week I got an info pack through from them about their own dental plan. Don't think they'll ditch me but worried all the same.

Guillemots - Trains to Brazil EP

Seen it now and again. Top stuff. Shame they don't stick it on Channel 4.

Of The Night Ep - Guillemots Was free through their website so can't complain, infact it's pretty good.

Cheers, it's sorted now. I stuck a filter on the main one down stairs and that sorted out the cutting out and the buzzing. All done and dusted now.

Cheers for the replies. I've since found out that there's a noise on the line too. I had a filter on the socket in my room where the pc is and as soon as I took it out the noises stopped, unfortunately it meant that I wasn't connected to the net. Someone suggested new filters, if I get them will this stop the cutting out when the phone rings and the noise on the line or just the noise one?

Pretty much what it says on the tin. Recently moved house and just got me broadband reconneted. However in this place if anyone uses the phone it kicks me off. I just use an external usb modem. Anyone have any ideas on how to get round this, fairly frustrating as it never happened in the old place.

Couldn't be more under-whelmed by the album personally. The singer has an annoying voice and the much vaunted lyrics just leave me, well, feeling very little. More NME over-hyping. To make things worse there will now be a million and one poor imitations signed up by the other labels to try and cash in on the craze.

The Good Die Young - Music Soul (rough demo) A member of the band sent me a message on Last.fm mentioning that we both liked Elbow and asked what I thought of their stuff. Listening to a few tracks through their myspace page and they are pretty good. They are doing a few gigs round Leeds and York.

The Early Years - All Ones and Zeros

I enjoyed the third series of Peep Show, nicely hidden away on Friday nights. I got the first series of Curb Your Enthusiasm around christmas time and loved it. Saw the first episode of My Name Is Earl and it seemed like a good solid start. Little Britian seemed to die on its arse this series. There's not much springing to mind comedy-wise. There must have been some other decent ones.

I thought it was £2 million? Why has the idiot got such a high compo in his contract 74324[/snapback] It could well be "just" the £2 mill, I might not have heard him right.

Mr Oliver has been whoring himself around today saying FF won't sack him as he doesn't want to cough up the £3 million in compo and there aren't any candidates immediatly available.

Panic in Cicero is on the Clerks Soundrack. All out anarchy sums it up well. Fits the scene well. Would consider looking into them.

Grandaddy - The Sophtware Slump Another band introduced to me by the afternoon glory that was Mark and Lard. Nice chilled out bliss.

I've heard the first two singles and they did nothing for me. Unless the album comes up with something special I'll just see them as another NME/Jo Whiley wankfest.

Fannied about with Newcastle a couple of times then got bored. Won the CL since the November update then restarted. Had the PL title in my first three seasons along with the league cup in the first two. Been in the CL final the last two years but had massive injuries and the opposition keeper just happened to have a blinder each time Am just going into the fourth season with the England job aswell. Never really been a fan of managing other teams, I got bored fairly quickly but am thinking about it for the first time ever.
