The one near the end of Requiem for Dream. Very tender and hearfelt.

Only the once, was on Tyne Tees news in the background when they were at Consett swimming baths doing a piece on an inflateable obstacle course that was touring the North East. It was a dinosaur themed one . Must have been in 1993 cos thats when Jurassic Park came out.

The bouncers on the doors at Baja run a little side business, last time I was there the one that stands a little further back by the queue and he would tell a group of blokes if they give him some cash (I presume it's a fiver a head as thats what they handed over) they'd get in no problem. No doubt feeding them the line that they normally don't let groups of lads in.

Ah the "I'm so cool because I can name people hardly anyone has heard of" list. Poor year, this year, when compared to last year for me. Only Guillemots and The Longcut stand out for me so far. Thom Yorkes was ok but didn't do much for me.

The Crystal Lake - Grandaddy

Ten Benson - Mystery Man

Cathy Davey - Save Button Price of Gasoline - Bloc Party

It is, they re-released the first two earlier this year: http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProduct...1;-1&sku=493576

I completely forgot about Shameless, top notch telly. Sugar Rush is ok in a" throw-a-way, don't take it as a deep and meaningful series" kind of way. Missed it last night but the two episodes before were a bit shite.

bump 175133 Total Gash. It's overlong, smug and not half as clever as it thinks it is. Scrubs is canny, certainly the fist few series. I agree that the first few series of X-Files were good. I drifted away from it as the series went on. Quantum Leap is good, especially around series 2 and 3. I quite like Without a Trace aswell. My mate lent me all 4 series of 2 Girls and a Guy and I thought it was pretty good. Bit by the time I'd watched season 4 it was a bit overkill as I'd watched them in a short space of time. I nabbed the first two series of Peep Show when they were only £7.99 each. Cracking show. 175423 Quantum Sleep 175428

I'd say it's funny but not their best. August and September, Fuzzy and Working Class Hero are all better covers. I'll throw in Hold It! by Do Me Bad Things, Go Your Own Way by Seaweed and the obvious Suicide is Painless by The Manics.

That's season 2, Shaq, I only know cos I watched a little over an hour ago.

Beloved Aunt There's so much going on in that episode.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

Watched Clerks 2 earlier this week. Enjoyed it. Not as good as the first one, but thats to be expected. The A2M bit seemed a tad overdone, like the desperately wanted to put something "taboo" in the film. There was something about Rosario Dawson when she was doing that dancing bit though. -
Listened to the album for first time in a while tonight. Shame that. They were canny. 169634 Nothing much but that was the last thing posted on the website. Got some rare vinyl from them, not sure if it means that it has gone up or down in value

Do Me Bad Things - Yes Went on their website for the first time this year today to see if there was any info on a new album, only to find out they'd split earlier this year. Bit of a shame like.

You have to wonder when or how that can EVER have seemed like a good idea. 165740 I'm guessing drink was involved at some stage. Apparently there used to be a skin head who went around Consett with a Swastika on his face. According to my boss who's from there. 165750 Aye heard of him. Don't think I've seen him though. Heard plenty sories about him. I was gonna say he's supposed to be as mad as a box of frogs but that doesn't do him justice. Wouldn't be surprised if he's doing time now.

Fields - 4 From the Village They're off into the studio for their debut album soon. Produced by Michael Beinhorn. He did a bang up job with Mew's last album so fingers crossed it will be the same again.

Over the moon that Guillemots are in.

I'm gonna haul out my Zelda disk for the GC and start playing the first two. Got Link to the Past for the GBA but can play it through the GC and it looks class.

Thats one big pair of puppies 158301 She also had a big pair of balls to bluff her way through that final round! But yes, truly impressive pair of breasts, which probably distracted the bloke from thinking straight! 158304 Only reason I kept watching tbf. Same goes for "Celebrity" Love Island, plenty of tits on there

That welsh lass is a big girl like

Guillemots - Through the Window Pane Followed them from their first EP, not managed to see them live though, and this is their debut album. Some good stuff in there.

Dreading doing mine. Well I'm dreading even writing it. Not sure what the hell to write. Ex's are out of bounds apparently and there's not many drunken stories about him as he's on a tight leash these days. Oh, and guess when the wedding is: August 19th!
