Murphy would have served it up on a platter for BDN. There's a fair chance the keeper saves a shot one on one and almost a certainty that a player of Woltemade's quality can pass a ball into an open net. Anyway, the point is Nick is great.
-
I have, just confused German wingers - not Gnabry, Sane! And Sane also doesn't have a fat head. Not my finest work when trying to highlight Nick's involvement in feeding Wirtz and then making the run.

https://storageff.b-cdn.net/c34ea3ea.mp4 This should have been a second goal for Wolte if Gnabry wasn't a fat headed hog.

Yeah, Howe is going to have to start rotating our CB players. We're spoilt for choice currently, but that can change quickly and Burn and Schär are reaching the end of their run at this level. It's more in the immediate term of turning our PL season around. That doesn't happen with Burn at LB IMO and I don't think Howe will outright drop Burn.
-
Who would you pair BDB with as a CB in our team? Assume Thiaw due to the left foot right foot combination. Harsh on Botman in the short term but if Howe wants Burn's leadership qualities on the pitch that's the only way to achieve it without also shooting yourself in the foot.
-
Elanga is also both footed, though some (not me) are alleging that this means he's as bad with his right as he is with his left.

Looking forward to the return of Risa and Zula.

Even the senior's walking football competition has been tainted with claims of power walking. I'm thinking of taking up following sports that are beyond reproach, like cycling and women's boxing.

I'm not a political expert but pretty sure that Hungarian footballers or football fans are not making the political decisions.

I'm seasick after watching that.

It's weird but I both agree and disagree with this. For some reason when Barnes starts he tends to be less effective. He does deserve to start though. As well as being a good finisher Barnes is also an effective crosser of the ball, in particular the floated cross to the back post.
-
Proper number 9 goals as well. He's a very versatile player and can move rather quickly in a straight line when required.
-
I don't know what you mean. By late March he had He did score a few goals later in the season (after late March), but that included the fifth goal against Crystal Palace and penalties against Ipswich and Brighton.
-
You're also forgetting that Isak was more or less crap since late March. If we had peak Isak then sure it's foreseeable that we'd have picked up additional points, but peak Isak is but a memory.

Don't know about body breaking down but a huge direct kick to the shin is a pretty good way to "legally" slow an opposing player down. Miley should absolutely be played more, he's a different player but certainly doesn't turn the ball over as frequently as 2025 Joelinton. It's also Miley's lack of pace and his inability to play in wide areas that sees Howe stick with Joelinton, and really Miley has to compete with Bruno and Tonali for a spot.
-
Not necessarily this exact team, but a change in formation is due to better allow width but with some inherent protection of our defense. Frees up some space in the centee with Wolte able to feed back to Tonali or Bruno, out to Barnes or Joelinton or through to Gordon (Barnes or Elanga could also be options at the top prior to Wissa’s return). We don't really have an option to play on the right of midfield who can defend, so that could be Murphy or Barnes or Elange there depending on who you play up front. I also think that Miley could feature against City, but don't know how you fit him into this side. There's enough time and motivation to try something new and unexpected. It would be great to have Livramento back obviously.
