Speaking of the bird from Twilight... Snow White & the Cuntsman - I'm ashamed to admit that I actually enjoyed this. The aforementioned bint is rough in my opinion and a shit actress, as is the gadgy from Thor which his stupid scottish accent but the film looks great and the dwarves entertained me. Could have been 20 mins shorter though. Charlize Theron has seldom looked hotter. Amazing Spiderman - can't really add anything more than has already been said. Gerfield is better than Maguire, Stone is fit, Lizard looked tippy as fuck but it was enjoyable. The Hunter - Really liked this, it's pretty slow but it was interesting and a bit more thought provoking than the Hollywood fodder above. -

Prometheus (again) - enjoyed it more the second time. God Bless America - loved it, it's low budget indie fayre but it is spot on and sums up exactly what is wrong with the world, and it's blackly funny. I think those of you on here who enjoy less mainstream films would probably enjoy it. It's directed by Zed from Police Academy! -
To answer my own question, The River does get better, not gonna change your life but it was reasonable enjoyable. It's a bit Paranormal Activity, a bit Lost and a bit Cannibal Holocaust, only 8 episodes so if you like that sort of thing it will fill a few hours or you.

Oh, and as everyone has already said, Rocky is immense! -

Killer Joe - really enjoyed it, it certainly not gonna be for everyone and I wouldn't recommend it as a date flick due to the voilence, nudity and misogyny. Your Sister's Sister - really enjoyed this as well. It's proper low budget, and looks as such but I thought the characters were engaging and the performances were strong, also features the least arousing sex scene I've seen in a good while. -

Red Lights - sadly not a documentary about the 'cultural' side of Amsterdam tourism. It was a lot better than I expected which just about made it average. -

I've just downloaded 'The River' has anyone seen it? Watched the first episode after the footy last night and wasn't particularly taken with it, does it get better?

The Pact - A festering heap of wank Chernobyl Diaries - Basically 'The Hills Have Eyes' in Eastern Europe, I kinda enjoyed it but that could be mainly due to having just sat through 'The Pact' Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - Proper blockbuster bollocks but it's actually quite good fun -
the £40 in my wallet can sleep safely knowing it isn't getting spent on that.

Cosmopolis - I'm usually a Cronenberg fan and there's flashes of his mastery in this but overall it did very little for me. -

No Mars and no mutants apparently - however the aforementioned 3 breasted lady is supposed to make an appearance! If you believe the rumor-mil anyway. -
In case it isn't already broadly known, Nike are trying to sell the Umbro brand as it isn't making them any money. Umbro shirts still by far the nicest around at the minute imo

Moonrise Kingdom - if you like Wes Anderson you will 'get' it, if not you'll probably hate it. Kinda like Badlands with kids. -

Script all the way mate. As others have said it feel like some chunks of it are sitting on the cutting room floor and as such it kinds just bangs along without filling in a lot of blanks. Don't want to say too much but there's a couple of 'reveals' which you will see coming half an hour before hand. As you'd expect from Sir Rid it's beautiful to look at though. Jonas has hit it on the head, there's just something missing for me, can't put my finger on what exactly but he's right when he says it doesn't have that punch. Also was it just me or was it too light (both in terms of tone and aesthetic)? other than when they're in the structure everything looks a bit too sunny and nice for my liking. Oh and the music is proper gash anarl.

Agree with most of what's been said, hugely underwhelming, zero tension or character development, formulaic beyond belief for the most part. I disagree with Ajax Andy in that I thought the 3D added nowt but that's a matter of preference. Having said that I'll probably go and see it again just to make sure (in 2D this time).

Reminds me of when my former boss rang me on a saturday afternoon to go into the office to sort something out urgently - I was at the Emirates watching us get beat - he was promptly told to get fucked! -

Unless it's stipulated in her contract I would assume she has no obligation to give it, if she does agree to give it, as JawD said, get it in writing, even get it added to a revised contract where it is clearly and more importantly legally stated what situation she can be contacted for - that way you're covering yourself and if she keeps hassling she will be in breach of the contract (surely?)
