  1. If we're judging players by friendlies, I saw Forster ship 4 again Layton Orient a few years back. Looked abysmal to me, poor positioning, poor judgement, very little command of his area or his back 4 then, obviously he has improved since but would I keep him over Krul? give over... Having said that I'd rather have him on the bench than Elliott, who likewise has looked toss on the 1 occasion I've seen him play.
  2. that's a fair summing up. He's right about not believing someone didn't get hurt, I reckon the health and safety regulations in Indonesia are possibly a bit more relaxed because they properly do look like they're kicking the shit out of each other. It starts off really raw and then it becomes almost comedic in the ways they kill each other - while still being fairly realistic and brutal. Check it out if you like that sort of thing, you won't be disappointed!
  3. The Raid. 90 mins of of total carnage. The story is anorexically thin and cliched and despite the fact I don't understand whatever language they were talking you could tell the acting was gash, however the action choreography is absolutely amazing and it was an extremely enjoyable film. I'd suggest if you don't like violence & bloodshed to give this one a miss...7.5/10
  4. I don't really do hot drinks. I realise this information is of no help to you...
  5. is that a nice bit of elastic in the front of the collar like an old drill top! Can you still buy drill tops out of interest? Not seen one since about '95
  6. Reckon they'll try to get Capello.
  7. haha! I've got one of those unlimited cards at Cineworld so I end up watching just about everything, also got a membership at the Prince Charles and the BFI to balance out all the hollywood fodder.
  8. Safe - Jason Statham knacks a bunch of stereotyped bad guys, I actually enjoyed it more than I probably should have 6.8/10
  9. anyone else having trouble signing into this? Every time I go there it claims I've got the wrong username/password - which I haven't (use the same combo for pretty much everything!). I've reset it 4 times and changed the email address and still every time I go there it doesn't remember my log-in details.
  10. I'm guessing you're on a PC rather than a Mac? if so you can edit them in Windows Movie Maker (which I believe is free?) - you may need to transcode them to a different format to work with them? (I doubt Windows Movie Maker will let you work on FLV files for example but you can convert them with lots of programs to be .mov's or .avi's) then you just slap them end to end in the right order, trimming off any bits you don't want. Export the whole sequence to be a self contained clip and burn that using whatever dvd burning software you have such as Nero, or Encore or Sonic Scenarist. I'm a Mac user so I can't be too specific about what software is best on a PC unfortunately. Also if the source video isn't at least 720x576 pixels the quality won't be amazing as this is PAL SD standard. Hope that's some help?
  11. unless the video has DRM on it (ie you bought it from ITunes/etc) you should just be able to change the file extension to .mp4
  12. I've seen series 1 and I've got series 2 downloaded, I like it but a mate of mine hates it so was just trying to gauge if he just has shit taste or not!
  13. Went to a 30th birthday party at the weekend and was the oldest person there...
  14. Does anyone else on here watch Louie? And if so what do you think of it?
  15. I think out of the 16 episodes so far, there's only been 1 or 2 without at least a bit of nipple.
  16. it's really good. Not too far fetched (as Lord Of The Rings for example) but there are definitely fantastical moments. It's primarily a character piece though and you see how friendship loyalty, trust and greed effect all of these people. Oh and there's tons of shagging in it...
  17. they will only download the files, you'll need to use a different program to burn the disc. If it is on youtube in 3 parts, you'll need to download each one individually and if you want them to play as 1 film you'll need to edit them together prior to burning.
  18. do any of the above or use this: http://www.keepvid.com/ Or if you're using Firefox, add this to it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/
  19. according to wiki... "The term itself was first documented in Internet newsgroups during the 1990s.[2] It was popularized by the 1999 film American Pie referring to Jennifer Coolidge's character: 'Stifler's Mom'"
  20. Agreed! I'd have hoyed one up Stiflers mam when I was a a horny teenager anarl (probably still would tbf)
  21. American Reunion: do I really need to write anything? You've all seen at least the first one and this is more of the same. Some genuinely funny moments but it's not as good as the original and isn't up to the standard of The Hangover (pt.1) the major problem in my eyes was the funniest scene was the very first one and it didn't quite reach that level again. Still it will make you chuckle a couple of times and there's plenty scantily clad nubile young ladies in it. 6/10
  22. Avengers - very enjoyable but not this earth shattering masterpiece people are making out. A solid 8/10 American Pie tonight...
  23. I've seen him twice now, saw the 'Svengali' show last year - it's good but I personally preferred 'Enigma', still you'll have a mint time pal and the wife will enjoy it! He always does a bit where he will invite the audience to take part if they want to be hypontised, it doesn't work on me thankfully but in Svengali he got people to put their hands above their heads and if you're susceptible it stays there. When he had picked a volunteer or two from these people he went about releasing the others from his 'control' - all apart from the poor bastard behind me who for whatever reason was stuck like that and had to watch the last two thirds of the show with his hand stuck up in the air - thank fuck he was behind me not in front, poor twats probably still like that now.
