Expendables 2 - surely I don't need to say owt about this one. Throw-back to your childhood if you're anything like me, fun but less enjoyable than the first in my opinion. Bourne Legacy - not as good as the other 3 but it's not terrible either. The Watch - had low expectations of this and it was better than anticipated. Some genuine laugh out loud moments. -

agreed, still looks a pretty decent line-up. It'll probably come down to if they can hack the heat! Reckon Campbell will get some pitch time as they'll not want to burn Cisse out before the weekend. -

did you see the episode with Robin Williams in a couple of weeks ago? class

They do need to splash the cash, but what they need is defensive cover, and that is something they won't be trying to acquire from us. They looked suspect last night because they had Carrick & Valencia playing in the back 4 but the midfield looked alright, Kagawa seems like he's gonna be decent and Cleverly is only gonna keep getting better.

Tooting is in walking distance or less than 4 stops on the tube and has more curry houses than Brick Lane.

I'd recommend these ones... A Separation is something you may not like, it's a slow moving character piece but I thought it was great. The rest are pretty mainstream. A Separation (2011) Black Swan (2010) Good Will Hunting (1997) Platoon (1986) The Thing (1982) The Wrestler (2008) Twelve Monkeys (1995) -
in addition to what Fish has correctly pointed out - the food in the C&L is generally toss, stick with a burger! As Clee says the pub is as small as your average laundry cupboard which is great for atmosphere but not ideal for trying to get a constant good view or to the bar quickly but there is a screen at both ends of the room so it's manageable.

These men speak the truth. Be interesting to see this seasons line up behind the bar in the C&L, they have a canny knack of getting some hotties.

Where's Deano when you need him?? Oh that's right, defrauding charitable organisations....

Ted - nowhere near as good as the word of mouth promised. A few funny moments, most of which you'll have already seen in the trailer or in preview clips but that's it. Jackpot - based on a Jo Nesbo story. It's not breaking any new ground but I still really enjoyed it. If you liked Headhunters it's got the same very dark sense of humour so this may be up your street. -

I was fully prepared to get flack for disliking The Beatles when I saw the thread title - turns out I'm in good company! -
Hahaha! I entered a competition on that show, I think it was to win some Inspector Gadget merchandise? didn't win but they sent me a signed picture of Gaz Top, probably still floating around my mam's loft somewhere? I'll hoy it your way if it comes to light LTB!

I was just about to post that feeling hellish chuffed with mesel for remembering it, them found you'd beaten me to it! So here's some Going Live in stead:

Have they not been forced to take down all the sponsorship logos at the ground? I heard venues weren't allowed to have anything that wasn't an official sponsor and even the O2 arena had to cover their logo which is apparently on all of the seats. At work we've had to remove logo's from a bunch of videos right down to the 3 stripes on people's sleeves with adidas tops.

Regents Park in London is absolutely rammed with fitness, I did try to sneak a couple of sly pics but kept getting rumbled. There was at least 1 topless as well...

I've never seen it either, just wanted an excuse to use that emoticon anarl.

Fucking hell, now that all brings back memories, glad to say I never owned any of these items, I had a pair of Ellesse shoes which were very similar to the Kickers. Was nee follower of fashion back then and many would say I'm still not...

Popular choice for understandable reasons! I've still got 2 of these, long and short sleeved and amazingly they still fit me. -

The Imposter - documentary about a missing American boy who turns up 4 years later in Spain...or does he?! Thought it was brilliant and it kept you wondering what was gonna happen next. It opens on 24th August and I'd recommend it. Dark Knight Rises - nothing to add to what's been said already, you do miss the odd line from Bane, his voice does sound like Brian Blessed doing panto, Hathaway has got a stupendous arse, it's a very good film. -
Surely the club shop could offer a shirt with stripes on the back for those who don't want to get a name and number? Everyone's a winner then. I remember the Asics shirt in '93 had stripes on the back and when I decided to get a name/number a couple of months down the line when I'd saved up my pocket money they added the patch along with the number. Not that I'd buy the new shirt either way to be honest though.

Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World - I liked it, nice indie-spirited comedy which proves Steve Carell can actually act. Maybe I'm sentimental at heart though because my mate hated it. Detachment - Thought it was fantastic, not an easy watch by any stretch, and about as far removed from High School Musical as you're gonna get from an American school based film. Kinda like some sort of cross between Shame and We Need To Talk About Kevin.
