  1. Put it on everyone! Hoping this one is better than last weeks!
  2. I do A Level Economics, so might not help much, but PM me if ya need any help with the basics!
  3. I'm sure we'll both be tuning in for it.
  4. Aye, apparently it's a new series! Wonder what they'll do next week!
  5. Ah, I've been staring at the TV for the past 10 minutes thinking 'What the fuck!' I quite like it in a weird way!
  6. What the fuck is this?
  7. All of which Iran has! no.. it really doesn't. how many Jews enjoy freedom from oppression in Iran? Iran has the highest proportion of female MPs in the world and education is legally guaranteed to all, regardless of gender. There is no widescale persecution of Jews in Iran as you seem to be implying. It's very easy to lump Iran in with less developed Islamic countries, however I accept there problems. It just annoys me when the media seem so clueless about the Arab World. This is the thing Dan the average European knows very little about Iran. Indeed!

  9. Who did? You! Wasn't in the first 2 seasons tbf. The rake scene is the best Simpsons scene ever, but the best episode is the Stonecutters. Oops. Thought it was earlier than that. I think Cape Feare is fantastic personally, so many hilarious moments!
  10. You missed Cape Feare! Best episode ever surely!
  11. Not sure about him tbh, but I would imagine this is one of Blair's parting 'gifts' as it were, when he was probably one of the only people in the Parliamentary Labour Party who was in favour of the war (at just about any stage). It will be his legacy. I don't agree with that to be honest. Very few PMs seem to be defined by their foreign policy (bar Eden, but he only served for two years anyway). I think his legacy will mostly revolve around his first term; the constitutional change, devolution, a fairly decent economy, The Good Friday Agreement and (for better or worse) a new style of governance in the UK. Iraq will obviously play some part in it though. Churchill Bastard. No-one remembers his second term though!
  12. Oops, didn't see Matty's post. He's spot on.
  13. That's only about indirect free kicks. The basic procedure about free kicks is the referee will ask the player whether he wants a quick one or whether he wants the wall put back (in which case he must wait for the whistle). If the referee had consented to the free kick being taken quickly, it's a legal goal.

  15. Typical post from you tbh. Boring now. I'm uncomfortable about using football tragedies as banter too. And if it's not banter, then the thread should be deleted and the moron who started it should be banned imo. DanTheMan is a bit of a girl though. I knew I had some guaranteed support from you Rents.
  16. Typical post from you tbh. Boring now. Don't give a fuck to be honest! I'm sure I mention it no more than you talk about Frank Lampard or Chelsea! Just think it's a shame to give such low blows, thought we were meant to be more civilised than him!
  17. It'll cost you. It'll cost him his relationship Didn't cost me mine you tosser.
  18. The Porn and the Gangster ones are the best. 'My money don't jingle jingle, it folds'
  19. Did he really? Where did you get these figures from because they look a bit dodgy to me tbh. Not sure tbh, seen it a few times in a few different sources. If you look at the squad he inherited and the squad he left, most of the players changed, with a few big names coming in. I'll try and find the figures sometime. According to this German site, which is normally sort of reliable, he spend something like 20m Euro and made 23m Euro, though a couple of transfers have no value listed. Still, 70m GBP seems a bit too much for me. http://transfermarkt.de/de/verein/720/fcpo...uebersicht.html I love it when Isegrim sorts people out like this!
  20. Daily Mail- immigration, 'Labour failure' Daily Express- Diana (especially on Mondays), Muslims The Independent, the environment The Sun/ Mirror/ NOTW- celebrities, sex The Telegraph- something Conservative-related In my politics textbook there's quite an interesting chart where it breaks down newspaper readership by political party. Some surprising ones! Personally, I read The Times or The Independent.
  21. The fact that you like it makes me feel gay.
