Turns out the owner of the football team they're playing is a member of the Saudi Royal Family and a former minister of defence.

I wasn't even talking about the human rights aspect of the tournament. It's just that people I know who go to those places, Dubai etc tend to be insufferable. Going on holiday sober and having your picture taken in front of a fancy car isn't my idea of fun.
