No you havent CT. I resisted the temptation to call you a fraudulent spazz when you started quoting the Japanese deficits as evidence for the failure of any government investments to promote growth. The reason why you are an enormous thundering moron is because the exact same policy was being deployed at the exact same time as the Japanese deficit spending in another country. Do you know which one and what happened?

Didnt he also fling bacon at passing muslims from his shed?

The chauvinism is too strong so despite their irritation they will be secretly bursting with pride and confiding in each other that this just proves they've been right about everything for 1000 years.

Did you find the Mercado San Miguel? Did you try the ham? I bought a load of decent chorizo and Iberica over the weekend, think we are having it this week with a 10 year old Spanish red.

All the time. What's hilarious is that on the whole, they think we call them frenchies. At least once a month i have to explain 'its frog, not because you eat them but because you are slimy and we once got high licking your back'.

As if 'britishness' is not portrayed in an even more stereotypical (and frankly chauvinistic) light in the French media. As if the french would embrace British culture (however cliched - ooh look a french word and we didnt feel the need to invent our own) and sing British songs in the crowd. If Mcrossan or other french commentators dont get that, then they have a limited imagination.

Southampton were the better side for all of the second half until the penalty so i thought we rode our luck a little bit. Could easily have gone 2-3. MYM gets into no man's land for their second goal, he is drawn to their attacking player but with Gouffran covering he should have focused on blocking the cross. Not blaming him for the goal but its not been mentioned since Santon was the one out of position. In a way, it feels harsh to blame Santon if he is being asked to get forward and provide width. Overall i thought we did very well and Pardew's tactics were very good against a really good team.

It's -1 here, not counting on it being warm in a month, even the south is freezing. Got to take holiday that week anyway, that's why I'm looking there. Just need to kick back with my girls and let go of the daily grind, traveling with work loads knacks you up. Need a beach and if its 22c I'll be happy. There's a hotel which has a day-time child minding service for under 4 year olds, which is a lot harder to find than you'd expect. I'll be in the south of France all August too, so not arsed about that. I'd prefer to go further afield (thinking Turkish resort too) but that's life.

We had a lot of problems with our Nespresso machines, we had 2 which broke, parts needed replacing and it was a ball-ache. We got given a 3rd one about 3 years ago and now don't use it anymore as its a pain getting the capsules. That Tassimo looks good, get the one with the features you want, I doubt the difference in coffee quality is discernible.

Speaking to Mutlu tomorrow, he said he'll sort you out.

I know what temperature it is Never been to Mauritius but been to the Caribbean a few times. Jamaica, Barbados and Cuba (and The Keys). Reunion is amazing, the 'cirques' are beautiful, we did helicopter rides over them and big hikes. The Canaries are only 4 hours from here so it's there or Turkey basically. Not doing long haul with the little one, not fair on her.

I'll get you some restaurant tips. Dont worry, I'll tell the fucker not to recommend his uncle's kebab shop.

Its what we were thinking, not amazing but cant really go wrong. I've been to Gran Canaria for a week away with the lads about 15 years ago and it was cheap and cheerful. Looking to go upmarket these days but no idea which of the Islands is the nicest. Any insights on that? Why Lanzarote?

I'll drop him a note tonight. Funny lad Mutlu, built like a brick shithouse but soft as clarts. Massive Fenerbahce fan too, he is desperate for us to meet in the EL. He lives in Switzerland now but goes back to see his wife and kids in Istanbul each weekend so he should provide some decent input.

Really want to go to Mauritius, Maldives, Reunion or somewhere like that but cant be arsed with 12 hours in a plane with a 2 year old. Got a week booked off from March 16th and we're thinking the Canaries for sun and not too far.

I work with a lad from Istanbul and we're good pals. What do you want to do? i'll ask him for some recommendations.

Get you. 'Hey everyone, bet you hadnt thought that living longer means you will need a big pension but i am going to be great as i have a pension that will mean i can do everything i do now but go on holiday even more'. Its what i thought you were saying when you mentioned how high powered your life was (twice). A financial advisor once claimed i should be aiming for a pension income of 80% of my final salary. I never went back to see her.

You two should talk more often.

This is definitely going better than expected
