You're such a hipster Meenz.

What disturbs me more than anything is how utterly convinced they are that they are right. That last sentence of yours says it all for me, the subs didnt work because we didnt regain control of the game but we did get all 3 points. In a funny way, i'd rather have lost against Reading and won last night with these new players than have won against Reading and lost last night without them, if you know what i mean.

Is the world 'melodi' meant to be ironic?

Same here. Just been reading the match thread on NO and a lot on there and here seem to think that Pardew did something at half time which caused the second half performance. No offence to anyone but i really dont understand how anyone can look at a match like that and conclude it was Pardew's interventions at half time that led to Villa coming out and scoring within 3 minutes of the re-start. Then there are the views that hold that the substitutions were to blame. Thats right, the substitutions that start in the 70th minute are to blame for the events in the 45th to 48th minutes. Its funny how people just see what they want to see. Pardew has many faults and there is fair criticism as we were poor in the second half but that was a huge away victory under the circumstances that both clubs were in.

Belta cock and Belta minge at the top of the forum, must have been a win last night for the lads.

How Villa performed against Millwall or Bradford is irrelevant, I'm sure everyone involved with their club is 100% focussed on staying up and could care less about the cups. Also 'having a feeling' that we 'should' have done better in the second half isn't a reason why we should. As noted by certain match reports, the Villa that turned up in the second half was the one that beat Liverpool away and gave Man U a run for their money.

What's wrong with his proper thread? Smells too much of cum?

Had to turn on a Spanish stream as couldnt stand listening to Brian Little. Fuck me that was painful but lots of players went missing second half as Villa massively upped their game. Claiming that Villa are just shite doesnt really tell the story, they are more than capable of taking points at home and being behind and getting a goal back put a massive amount of momentum behind them. Its not unusual for a side coming back to 1-2 down at home to then dominate the rest of the match. In fact its quite normal, a lot of the distress from that second half is clearly based on watching and expecting the match to continue down the same path as the first half. Goals change games and their goal did that, its to our credit we held on. We are not suddenly amazing, we need the players coming in to settle down and get used to the pace of the league. I thought Anita's energy was used well in closing down their defence allowing Shola to drop deeper to defend the long ball. M'Biwa made one or two superb interventions in the box, Shola was Shola though so frustrated in any attacking sense. Totally agree with Barney and HF's assessments. Some very OTT reactions to our first away win of the season.

Its all in the 'educational' video for an incredible limited offer of only 19.95.

Great city, great food. First night i had room service and crashed but 2nd night went to Boulevard which is in a beautiful building opposite the Embarcadero, one of the only buildings in the area to survive the 1906 earthquake and fire. 3rd night went to First Crush which has one of the best wine lists in the city, dead relaxed and nice people. 4th night we went to The Clift hotel which is stuck up and posh but we were having our company do there. It was all fake tits, canapes and shit hip-hop, could have done without it as i was wrecked after a lot of meetings. Free drinks though so not too bad. Next day was that lush lunch in Sausalito and then a massive fuck off steak dinner at Morton's Thinking back, i cant believe how much i actually ate on saturday, heroic once you count the two breakfasts (had a great brunch in The Grove on Mission after my run and coffee and toast an hour before it). CT must be jealous as fuck reading that, tbf he'd have loved it.

You've sold that to me more than this 5:2 nonsense.
