It's hardly my fault I've had redundancy looming over me. Was that 'Its not easy being a frog' top you wore especially to meet our lass an Adidas top?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/scienceandtechn...ed-on-Mars.html At first glance it looks like a rocky desert - but this image of the Mars landscape has got space-gazers talking. An oddly shaped space boulder appears to show eye sockets and a nose leading to speculation it might be a Martian skull. Internet forums are full of chatter about the picture, taken by a panoramic NASA camera known as Spirit. One alien-spotter speculated: "The skull is 15 cm with binocular eyes 5 cm apart. The cranial capacity is approximately 1400 cc. "There appears to be a narrow pointed small mouth, so this creature most likely is a carnivore."

I don't see how that's a reason to send somebody off. Then again I suppose it is if you're Joey Barton. His aim was never for the ball - it was a fucking awful tackle and IMO, totally indefensible. He quite clearly got the ball though. Not surprising seeing as he took the whole of Alonso too. It's one of the most blatent red cards I've ever seen. He got the ball first though. It was a two footed lunge though (not to be confused with a two foot clunge). Its just a real shame for everyone, he is our best midfielder by a mile.

Sir Bobby: Don't blame Mike Ashley for Newcastle's decline
ChezGiven replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
What would you say it WAS evidence of then? Fuck all, just like the season before. So holding the best club side in the world to a draw at their place means nothing eh? We all felt we might even win, THAT'S the confidence Keegan was instilling in us as fans and the players. Now we're not even sure we can beat Boro at home. Didnt for Reading in August 2007. Were Man U the best club in the world then? Dunno tbh. Well, Reading just sat back and defended for their lives, United got desperate and didn't take their chances. But we could have won there in August 2008 and played some nice football. They went down to 10 men after about 5 minutes and our performance that day had some nice moments but was limited. Alex is right, it was a bright start but we would have still struggled. -
Some illiterate alcoholic aussie who wrote the same word over and over in chalk? I guess culture is relative.

Drawing at Old Trafford on the first day of the season is not evidence of a club going in the right direction. I shouldnt need to explain why. -

Do they not get on? I know Keegan was never a huge fan of Robson when he dropped him from the England squad without even telling him. That quote there about Shearer being the only one worthy for the job since he had is a load of hypercritical shite. I love SBR but there's no need for him to have another go at Keegan. Maybe he knows something we dont. Keegan hasnt exactly covered himself in glory walking out on the club in its relegation year because of the T&Cs of his highly remunerative contract. -
So in short, nothing the fat man has done will have been of lasting benefit? (not to mention the monumetal fuckup of relegation) We'd still be as much in debt as everyone else? SJP Holdings owes one of Ashley's bank accounts apparently (call it SportsDirect). Therefore if SD calls in the loan from SJPH, the club will probaly go into administration. This would destroy all equity and value of the asset, which is ultimately owned by the same person, rendering it financial spasticide. I think we'll be alright for the first season, 40m parachute plus most of the Milner, Given and N'Zogbia money. Its the season after thats the issue for me.

No. No one would buy that deal unless he gave the club away.

Bigger drinkers though. I've heard their women wear big pants.

I know what you're saying is sarcastic towards them but people actually believe it over there. It's like saying Libya were the main players in the troubles in Northern Ireland because they were arming the IRA, not to mention the yank cunts with collection boxes in Boston, and McDonalds. America gave us a few guns because it was in their best interests for us to do the krauts, then they came over 300,000 of them, less than 1/10th of the British forces involved in the push, and claim they saved us, fucking yank mugs. If anyone saved us it was the Russians, keeping them busy and utterly battering them on the other side The Russians were 0-3 down at half time come back and won 8-3 that is what happened on the Eastern Front. Two countries can claim to have WON World War 2, the rest of them, especially America, nah. Simon Schama's got nowt on you.

Banksy is basically a copy of Blek Le Rat, a french graf/stencil artist from the 80s. So that would be a resounding fail from Appropriate Media. http://bleklerat.free.fr/ Heard about him before actually. Where's all this shite from btw Parkinstein? The Socialist Worker by the looks of things. I was out on the May Day marches on friday, joined up with the Socialist Party's protest against the global financial crisis next to the jardin du luxembourg. Thats that sorted then.

Saved our arses in the war apparently, not that i know much about the subject, just what one of them told me.

I like the way you stuck the author's name in there for the uncultured amongst us. Its more likely to be X-rated filth.

The Element of Crime. Bought the trilogy the other day for 8 euros. Not got my head round it yet. Continuing with Michael Elphick, watched The Elephant Man on TMC2 on saturday. Fabulous film. -
The Great Escape?

Surely going down and into administarion is the worst case scenario, not sure how a poll helps to establish this? BBC commentators are now making statements on the likely financial predicament of the club after relegation, sure there was some statement on MOTD 2. I think this needs clearing up. If the club doesnt owe any money to any banks, how can creditors petition a court to appoint an administrator? Its just not possible. The only scenario, given the debt structure, is voluntary administration but that comes with a 15 point deduction so why would this happen? If, as we understand it, the club owes previous debts to Ashley, the club can default on any payment without the worry of creditors applying for an administrator to be appointed. On the basis of what we've heard in the past 18 months, its not going to happen.
