Sir Bobby: Don't blame Mike Ashley for Newcastle's decline
ChezGiven replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
We don't though, like Asprilla says. Newcastle United still have all that debt and more....until Mike Ashley says he'll forfeit it all. The debt is growing at a slower rate than it was though. But then our Premier league status and full houses every week meant we could sustain the debt we had. Without either of those, it's less likely. He 'internalised' the debt as far as i am aware. Therefore defaulting on any credit we have isnt subject to the `leeds' model of disintegration. So really his the person that would call up the debt anyway? Chez might correct me, but the way I see it is he doesn't have to call in the existing debt for us to go into administration, he just needs to refuse to guarantee future losses. We still owe other clubs for players bought as well as the ongoing costs of paying staff and suppliers. If the club doesn't earn enough to pay them (which it hasn't for 5 years, even in the Premier league) and Ashley refuses to loan the club more money to pay them, we'd be screwed. Who puts us into administration? There are only 2 routes, petitioned at court by the creditors (Mike Ashley will take Mike Ashley to court to get Mike Ashley's money back?), or voluntary, which destroys the residual value of the asset. Netither seem like a good idea to me. The issue is complicated though by what you point out, the guarantee against future losses. There are also two types of administration (and you'd need an accountant to precise the details), one where your costs are too high and one where the 'books' are not balanced, which includes all the amortisation of assets and the rest of the complicated stuff. -
Whack these into a youtube search.... Strategy Bonobo The Cinematic Orchestra Yvi Slan Hervé Defunct! Switch Leko Recommendations courtesy of Allmusic.com so don't blame me. Eamonn. Maybe it's because I've got a couple of mates who are genuine Man U fans. They speak with the right mix of humility and pride. Maybe that's why I want them to win, or more likely, I fucking hate the systemic cheating of the Spaniards, this myth that they play the best football and the bias that I perceive they receive. I'd say the cheating on some of our teams is just as bad if not worse. As demonstrated this evening. It's quite obvious they play the best football too though. Still couldnt beat Chelsea though tbf. Funny as fuck watching the french barca fans reacting to the sending off tonight too. "Diving cunt!" "Well maybe he tripped him" "Did he dive?" "No". Again, even better. They deserved to go through though, amazing spirit in that team, they should have given up but they were incredible, never stopped chasing, never gave up. I was delighted for Guardiola more than anything, top bloke. Drogba though

You've inadvertently stumbled upon something there. It's about passion and quality though. Something lacking in the players. Are you pretending to be a Leeds fan or a Newcastle fan now btw? In all seriousness, Shearer's short-term appointment was not about bringing a master tactician but bringing someone in who could do a short-term job of inspiring the players and giving the whole club something to get behind. If these were his first results at the start of a campaign, with a summer of prep then the original point (however obvious) would stand.

Fop, if you use a mac, is the bigger risk pwnage of your machine? Than all the PC viruses etc. Also, how do you protect a mac against hacking?

Alan Shearer presents Newcastle players with his 12 commandments

Judge: "would the defendant care to point out the person in question regarding the race hate charge." Craig:"Of course. That mop-haired Argentinian/Pakistani/Polish/Black/* cunt. God I hate him!" Judge: "ah I see, thank you for being so specific, case dismissed." *add your own Hmmm - slight issue here, it's an internet forum, not a court of law. Get some fucking perspective you retard! Fuck * Takes wig and gown off * He didnt say anything about cross-dressing man, you just be who you want to be mate. -
tbf, I don't see anything wrong with that - just because you're on a massive wage shouldn't mean that you're ineligible to make use of vouchers. Do you expect him to throw ÂŁ20 notes away as 'pocket change' as well? Yes, as tips to the hard working poor cunts who served the overpaid millionaire his dinner. As for using vouchers, not being snobby, just wouldnt consider the effort of keeping, using and paying with the voucher worth the resultant 2 quid reduction. If Rooney uses vouchers but lets his wife spend thousands on a new top she wears once, then he's an idiot. Just tell her not to buy one top and he can skip using the next 500 vouchers.

Roosevelt was quite keen on Hitler at first, they entered the war because of Pearl Harbour, declared war on the Japs, Hitler then declared war on US, so they were forced to fight Germany. If that hadnt happened, not sure how Pearl Harbour would have played out. Not a WW2 expert by a long way.

How does this undermine Shearer? -
And long may his funky soul rest in peace. Ow! Good God.

Load of propaganda shite, all they did was arm us, and we only paid the cunt back a few years ago, they should've let us off for preventing them from being taken over by the krauts. 300,000 yank troops made minimal difference regardless what your propaganda yank christian fanaticism upbringing tells you. If we'd joined forces with the krauts in 1939, which is what Hitler wanted because he respected Britain, he was even humping a bird from Chatham, there'd be no USA now. Nailed on fact. In terms of World War 2 importance you wouldn't be in the top 5. Nuking innocent Japs was brave of you though. Stevie, if you want to be really wound up by the yanks, read up on the efforts of Keynes to secure the loan from the US after the war. Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain is a good place to start. I've read about the loan problems before Chez. I fail to see what America did in the war, they came over as 1/10th of our armed forces, after charging us obscene amounts for arms when they wanted to remain neutral. So they sent a minimal amount of blokes to fight in a war we'd been fighting for 4 years, they come in get their picture taken and fuck off home, not before dropping a few nukes and murdering 100,000 Japs in the process. Big war contribution that, well done uncle Sam you big hard cunts. They lost nearly as many men as we did man. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_casualties

Also has a brilliant account of the day in Cabinet in 1939, when 9 of the 12 members wanted to capitulate to Hitler and implement the plans to move the Royal family to Canada and the proposed power structure in Britain under German rule .... and up stepped Churchill, inspiring them to fight. The records were only released a few years ago but its amazing stuff.

Written after half a bottle of Glenmorangie, the page wet and the ink blurred by his bitter tears. Sure there's been a few posts on here in similar circumstances.
