  1. The longer it goes on the more i think Keegan will stay, which will be better for the club in the long run. I'm hoping we dont hear anything till the end of the day. The sooner the news comes the worse it is. The last time this happened it was confirmed as the main headline on the 1pm national news.
  2. You won't be there anyways though Deep. Fact is though, I go to double the amount of away games you go to. JohnnoJ or whatever. Yes but in the home end doesnt count though.
  3. If he's sacked then all hell will break loose. I imagine he has threatened to walk, in which case i think a deal could be reached. I just cant bring myself to believe Gemmill is now the biggest ITK on the boards.
  4. I'd rather have Bassong than Beye at the minute, he's had a shit start to the season.
  5. Well, assuming he is first team standard, he's more likely to start in a 442. Left back remains a problem though.
  6. Duff but dont worry about it. If its a 433, then I'd rather Guthrie in the middle and Barton on the right.
  7. Xisco is a target man for Owen. More likely to see them together in a 442. I think Keegan has bought him to play him.
  8. apologies i get mixed up with ignorant cretins chucking about stereotypes, they tend to all be the same type of inbred dense little shites that don't have any intelligence or wit about them You might not be thick but you're still wrong.
  9. So does this mean no more Butt?
  10. He shouldnt be calling people paupers for not having sky when he's taken the time to find a stream on Justin TV either.
  11. Or for those abroad. Thank fuck i can turn the Setanta stream off. Fucking shite.
  12. Stevie's boss will be delighted that Chelsea missed out.
  13. Zigic refusing to go to Racing. http://www.marca.com/futbol/altasbajas08/recta-final.html
  14. Doubt it. Slow and steady boys. Slow and steady. I reckon we might like. I'm practically convinced with Gonzalez and Xisco; just sounds very much like Faye and Beye this time last year; as Chez pointed out. Think there may be another one in there too which we didn't necassarily see coming, probably a left-back if anything. The only uncertainty is Xisco. I'm not convinced there will be anyone else. Being a bit of a pain here... but where am i going wrong? I thought that the Xisco thing was at the same stage as Gonzalez; ie confirmed only by their respective club; just not by us. If people are sure about Gonzalez, why not Xisco too? Valencia confirmed Gonzalez about .... 4 days ago it seems now.

  16. Keegan has a team of 3 people filtering out the shite. I believe he has the final say on things, the question is how many different candidates is he presented with in the first place.
  17. I'm 35 and that sounds like a good day to me too.
  18. We are singing Henry the 8th  You'll have to hum that one for me.
  19. I agree Chez, KK was a great player for us, among many others, but Kenny was the best of the lot. He was the best all round player we've ever had. What he lacked in pace he made up for in speed of mind. He had superb ball control, could create something out of nothing and his outstanding individual talent was only surpassed by his willingness to be part of the team. The official site had a vote all of last summer, top 100 players, Kenny came out top still, 20 years after he'd hung up his boots. Can't remember where KK came I'll look it up. Probably top 5, not sure. KK was number 8 Sorry, link didn't work http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/archivedirs...061008-0859.htm Parky will hate me for distracting his thread.. but anyway. One of my favourite all time moments in football (and i remember this from seeing it once on MOTD) was a move between Dalglish and Rush. It was only one touch from Dalglish but the control was out of this world. The ball comes over the halfway line to Dalglish in the inside right channel, who has his back to goal and is marked. Rush is making a run more centrally. Dalglish basically slices the ball with the outside of his foot sending it behind him with swerve. The swerve was (in my memory) inch perfect to carry it into Rush's path, he takes a touch and buries it. I was only 4 when Keegan left you lot but i still remember it. Fuck me I didn't realise you were 35. The goal was class I think it was against Watford left shot bottom corner, my fav goal on MOTD was actually against Liverpool. Justin Fashanu, the queer who was playing for Norwich at the time, flicked it up turned and volleyed it in to the corner, what a goal. Its cos i only look 25.
  20. who's the only British player to win European Footballer of the year while playing abroad ? Lots of myths follow Keegan around. As a manager, he's "tactically naive" despite beating the crap out of all the tactical geniuses. As a player, he was "workmanlike" and made the most of limited ability. Utter tosh. His dynamism made the most of his playing attributes, one of which was pace, and a great finisher in the box, alled to being a complete team player which is the reason he was part of teams that shared goals around. Was England's best player of the 70's without question and the best player in Europe for a while. Apparently though, according to the dippers, he wasnt as good as Carragher, Barnes or Fowler
