...which was parity with Taylor = £35K/week ....but now we need to buy 2 £35K/week midfielders by Monday, rather than the one we were after previously. Now we've got an extra salary and 12m to do it with, on top of what we had before. Aye, if it is £12M for a lad who's not even been in his international squad, then we've raped the shit out of them. And if a few deals come off I'll be over the moon. The positivity over this sale seems at odds with the panic strewn whining about the sparsity of our squad over the last week though. I've been Zen. There are a lot of our fans who really rate Milner (singing his name to come on etc) and there are a lot of our fans (on the internet) who dont have a clue about attracting top players to our club. Hence the fuss.

I'd be happy with 2 more players, not ideal but i think we'd do very well if they were of the quality of the previous signings.

Kenny Dalglish was a far better player for Liverpool than Keegan? Thats strong. I loved Dalglish as a player, some of the link up between him and Rush was amazing but Keegan was a giant of player for you too.

Just to be clear, this doesnt reduce the wage bill by 15k. It reduces it by 15k + what Milner was demanding.

We will, the deals to try and sell Ameobi and Smith were to reduce the wage bill and raise some revenue. As these deals didnt come off, its my reading of the situation that this deal was accepted to allow for additions. Its all well and good pointing to the size of the squad but you need to get rid of salaries too if you want to offer large ones to new players. So we sacrifice the lowest paid first teamer we have? "makes spacka face" He would have stayed if we had increased his salary. Therefore selling him saves the increased salary and the selling fee. If only we'd sold Taylor too. Why do people keep bringing up Taylor in replies to me?

...or cut back in and then out, or cut back in and then out, or cut back in and then out, or cut back in and then out, or cut back in and then out.....back pass. Aye, and i bet the first time he gets an assist, the gormless one's fans will be up in arms about us selling him forgetting his normal act.

At least we know how to play him, show him outside and then wait for him to spacka-kick it over the touchline. Good luck spotty!

Is the point of view of the authorities that there is still a significant threat of violence from a minority at most games, if not controlled or 'sanitised'? Might explain where all the stupid policies come from.

Gutierrez was scouted by wise and his team according to Keegan.

I presume you need to split up doses of Avastin for eye treatment as the doses used for cancer are massive. http://www.mdsupport.org/library/avastin.html Sorry to hear about your loss, they would have probably lived 6 months longer if they were german or french too.

There's no need for people to start tripping out just yet.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jh...8/27/dl2701.xml "Insurance companies are waiting to offer low-cost policies to top-up basic NHS care. That will leave Nice facing fewer life-and-death decisions because patients will be able to buy their own life-saving treatments without jeopardy." As announced on here about 2 months ago. I like to keep you abreast of developments ahead of time.

Would "You're all wearing a Sports Direct shirt, a Sports Direct shirt, a Sports Direct shirt" work against the mackems?? I'm a bit out of the retail-loop in wearside tbh.
